We had a 30th birthday dinner party and it was the most amazing experience and so much fun! Giuseppe worked with us to make sure every detail was perfect. We enjoyed some delicious appetizers and then made our own pizzas after the restaurant shut down. It was so great and unlike anything else in Hoboken!! We can’t wait to go back!

If I could I would give more than 5 stars. I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower. Guests (I had 46) can’t stop raving about the food and service. Large portions of food. Everything was great from start to finish, From booking my event , all the many communication texts and phone calls with Joe with questions I had. All were answered promptly. The event was perfect. We had the salad, calamari, pizza, chicken parm, gnocchi chicken cutlet and lemon sole. Cannolis and cookies were delicious!! Joe also connected me with someone to get chocolate treats delivered. They were delicious!
I would highly recommend hosting an event here. It is a great private space and the added plus- a parking lot. So many guests said they are going to come here for dinner now that they know it is here. I think it would be a great place to come with a group of friends or family on any night for dinner , not just an event. I will be back! If you book your party here you can have total confidence it will be a good one. BYOB !

I hosted a pizza-making party at San Guiseppe for my 4 year old’s birthday this past weekend. Joe was fantastic to work with when scheduling and took the time to walk me through the different options and share his ideas on what would work best. We had 22 kids ranging from 2-4 years old and about 25 adults. The kids had a blast making pizzas, and Joe was so good with them. The pizzas were a hit and were delicious. For the adults we served chicken parm and meatball parm subs and a salad and everyone had rave reviews. Top notch service from the waitstaff as well – kids can be tough customers – 20+ of them requires a whole new level of patience!

My family and I had dinner this past weekend and the food was amazing. We ordered wings and a few other appetizers as well. The main course was awesome as well, especially the veal marsala. The veal was very tender and seasoned very well. Will definitely go back again.

We recently hosted a family event here, and everything was absolutely perfect! It was a truly wonderful evening and everyone raved about the delicious food. The garlic knot meatball sliders and the chicken burrata were definite crowd favorites! Whether you’re dining in or ordering delivery, the food is consistently fantastic. Plus, there’s convenient customer parking, which made things even easier for our guests. Highly recommend for both everyday meals and special occasions!

We hosted my baby shower here for about 30 guests over the weekend, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make the day seamless and special. They allowed us to arrive early to set up, bring our own decorations, and even create a gift and mimosa table, which made the space feel so personal.
The staff was incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the planning process and during the event itself. The owner communicated promptly and helped us customize the menu, even making adjustments for a guest with celiac disease. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting both.
Having on-site parking was also a huge plus, especially for an event with so many out-of-town guests. Overall, the experience was smooth, flexible, and truly enjoyable. I can’t recommend them enough for private events or special gatherings!!

We had a great dinner here – the people who work here are so lovely and we’re so accommodating to us with a toddler! The food was delicious – highly recommend the chicken burrata and the garlic knot meatballs. Will definitely be back!

I had Bastoncini Di Mozzarella and an Italian Flag Pizza for starters, which were both absolutely incredible 10/10. For dinner, I got breaded chicken cutlet over penne in a vodka sauce topped with a homemade burrata, stunning plate from looks to taste 10/10. My lady got homemade pappardelle with a slow-braised short rib and red wine which really took the spotlight. Ended the night with a piece of rainbow cheesecake, as full as we was… we couldn’t stop eating it.
Joe made the experience even more special with his warm hospitality, offering genuine care and making sure you feel like family. One of the best experiences I’ve EVER encounter when it comes to dining. Thank you to San Giuseppe Coal Fired Pizza & Cucina for such a great experience.
