I ordered before checking reviews and I was nervous but for no reason. Sweet and sour chicken, the sauce had actual flavor and the white rice wqs perfectly sticky. Chicken was perfectly cooked, no oily. My General Tsos combo was delicious, i selected medium heat and it had none so that was disappointing but I’ll order it at a higher heat next time! The spring rolls were my favorite and the steamed dumplings were in point. All the sauces had great flavor, not overly salty.

This has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for many years. The food is delicious! Today is the last time I will order from them. I ordered $82 of food & tipped $18. The delivery person just dumped the bag of food in front of the door & didn’t ring the bell. Normally I have to sign a receipt. The food was cold by the time I noticed it. I ordered two orders of boneless Chinese fried chicken 13b from the menu — they sent bone-in chicken wings instead. The fried dumplings sauce spilled all over the food & paper bag. It ruined the almond cookies & rice & made a gross sticky mess of all the sauce packets & food. I called to ask them to redeliver the boneless chicken, cookies, rice & a sauce container. They transferred me to 4 different people! The final guy asked to call me back. They called about 10x, let it ring once & hung up. I was told to email pictures of my order to a weird email address which came back undelivered twice. All I wanted was what I ordered. EDIT: Woke up this morning & found a bag in front of the door. Who knows when it was delivered (It was at least 1,5 hours after I called to complain) because they never rang the bell! You have lost a long-time customer for the TERRIBLE service. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM SAN FONG AGAIN!

I’m so confused by all of the poor reviews. We have been going to San Fong essentially semi monthly for 3 years now and have NEVER been disappointed. I never write reviews but I had to here. I honestly, truly, do not believe the negative reviews are talking about the same place.
The sesame chicken hits every time. The broccoli and beef is next level. My wife loves the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. Only place in the area where the chicken in the fried rice isn’t rubbery. The people are friendly, timely, and helpful.
My wife is a super picky eater, but she LOVES this place. I have tried several other Chinese food places in the area and this place DEMOLISHES them all.
My dad always has to stop here when he is in town. It is that good.
0 stars on atmosphere because it’s take out only and your boy doesn’t pad the stats. I’d give it a solid 3.5 on atmosphere if it were dine in, as is.

While I might not give them a 5 star review, they earned a solid 4.8. Two of the three dishes I ordered tasted EXACTLY like they did 40+ years ago. When I fell in love with Chinese food back in the 80’s, certain dishes tasted the same wherever you ordered them. Fried rice and Subgum are two of those dishes. And the versions I had today were delicious and EXACTLY what I expect when I order. I can’t wait to try their Sweet and Sour Pork (or chicken) and their Egg Foo Young.

Always great food and a simple, friendly transaction. Love the fried bean curd in garlic sauce. Top with hemp hearts and nutritional yeast at home… some of the best plant-based food in South Milwaukee. Highly recommend. Appreciate San Fong’s love they put into their food.

I’ve been ordering from San Fong for years, I always get my food quickly! There’s been a couple of times where my usual food I order would taste a little off, but otherwise 95% of the time it’s always good! I always recommend them for anyone in the neighborhood wanting Chinese!
