I came for Mother’s Day for my first time because I heard they started selling Quesa Birria Tacos, the tacos were good but the meat could have been more tender, the soup bowl had very little soup, and the tacos had very little meat however I did like the presentation of the food and the tacos it self….there’s always room for improvements!! Also the price was $16.99 for 3 Birria Tacos and soup and a side of RICE OR BEANS that’s very overpriced compared to all the other restaurants I’ve been to that sell them it’s usually $10+tax

So this will be the last time I dine at this restaurant. I ordered wings and when I asked for ranch they gave me packets( like where do they do that at). Next the waiter took ten minutes to greet us and take our order. The white couple that came in after us came in and was immediately attended to several times. I’m not saying that they are racist at San Felipe but it sure felt like it. The waiter charged us for the wrong margaritas and when we brought it to his attention and he told us that we ordered something we didn’t. Like I can’t even pronounce have the stuff so I know what I ordered. They really didn’t seem to care that I had an unpleasant experience. It sucked because it happened on my birthday.

We have been eating at this restaurant for years. The food is not only authentic and delicious, it is a great price! They have it nicely decorated and play Mexican music over the speaker. The servers are friendly and attentive. Veterans get a discount and they also have a card that gets punched. After you go so many times, you get $6 off.

We were so happy to find authentic food! My husband loves Mexican, but does not like cheap knock off places! This one is going to be his new favorite! He was very happy with the food, we will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Ordered this on door dash since I was feeling too lazy to cook. The fact I’m getting Google maps to leave a review says something…this was so unexpectedly DELICIOUS. My husband and I both got tacos (chicken & carne asada) the meat, the toppings, the sauces they came with that we did not order, so fresh so much flavor. The rice and beans on the side, perfect. Tip: if you’re ordering on door dash it comes with chips and salsa, so if you add it to your cart you’ll get double…fine by me considering how fresh the salsa tastes.

Had the seafood burritos and they were very tasty. We got there sort of late and they had already started washing the floors in the kitchen. The smell was not so pleasant.

First time eating here and the atmosphere was really nice just dark. The service was slow. The food was not all that great to me. It didn’t seem fresh, I got an ACP dish w/ chicken and veggies. The rice was kinda hard and dry, the dish was dry it self it needed more flavor to it. And not be dry!

We have lived here for year’s but did not try out San Felipes for quite some time. Once we did, it has become our Taco Tuesday restaurant of choice in Moore County. Definitely worth trying out the ACP.

The food is great, and always consistent. Flautas, chimichangas, and fajitas are always a hit. But more importantly, the guacamole is made at the table in a large molcajete and is phenomenal (and so chunky) and the cocktails are muy especial — most recently we started with a mango margarita and a mojito, and ended up getting jalapeño mojitos for round 2. They have jalapeño margaritas and they let us mix it up to do mojitos instead. The flavor in my mouth as I type this review is like el sabor del Dios. Just wanted to share this with the world in hopes you come here and order literally anything. You will not be disappointed.
