I was so excited to try this place! the food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was so clean and the music was awesome. Our waitress was so sweet, managers were so nicely dressed and also so kind. Definitely will come back, especially for the enchilada supremas

I think the waitress was new…. every single time I put my fork to my lips, she’d ask me how things were, lol. I never did really get a word out. Other than that, everything was incredible!

Great people and excellent Mexican food at San Felipe. All of the staff are cordial and helpful. Excellent, flavorful hot sauce made in-house. The wait staff are great; they keep an eye on you and check back often.
I’ve been eating here for years and I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal. I’ve even had special order requests that were fulfilled with some entrées ordered and it never seemed to be a problems. Generous portions of food. You will not leave hungry and you may have food to take home for later.

I love the shrimp and zucchini ACP it’s awesome. The salsa is a little bit too much onion for me but other than that I have no complaints. Service is always good.

Stopped for lunch. We.were seated promptly and the server took our drink order. The seating was worn but clean. We each had a lunch special. I had the tamal which came with rice and beans. The beans were good, the rice was not so good and the tamal was very dry. My companion also avoided the rice. Overall it was okay but we will try a different restaurant next time we’re in the area.

Definitely enjoyed our time and dinner at this location. Food was excellent. Dessert was fantastic. Service was great. I would highly recommend and will return in the future.

After we visited the NC Zoo we decided to stop by this Mexican Restaurant, we had a good impression at first because it was packed with customers, we were quickly sited and a server came to bring the chips and salsa waited for a good while abnormal for an order to be taken, I asked the server for sour cream and habanero sauce and all drinks for everyone, but he never came back, after a while another server came out to start all over again. After we submitted our order we waited for about a good hour, when we got our order the food was not correct, apparently the server didn’t explain what the orders come with and it was all taken wrongly for not confirming, we immediately felt unsatisfied with our food, then the dished that we got correct was not good, the quality of the food was not cooked correctly. Servers are mainly teens or early 20 college kids I’m not sure if they haven’t been trained the right way or if they’re just tired of wknd work.
Biggest No-No was the music was so getto and out of place. Definitely have no desire coming back, and not a recomendable place to come dine in.

We had ACP and Tacos, food was amazing, Staff were great and kept our drinks full and were attentive to our needs. Will be going back and tell everyone I know that likes authentic Mexican food, this is the place. Prices are very reasonable, Clean inside and out.

(San Felipe Mexican Restaurant, Dixie Dr, Asheboro,NC) A great Mexican restaurant in the Asheboro area. The best thing to do at this restaurant is to get seated at a table. The food is great and they are fast bringing your food to the table. The only problem I always have is when I place a to go order. Everyone seems confused and it takes a while to get my food. Also, not a good idea to put someone on the cash register that can’t understand or speak English. I’ve stopped doing to go orders due to the confusion the staff has.
