Decent food. Good service. I got cheese enchiladas and my wife got chicken tacos. We also got horchata. Not good…we replaced with coke and ice tea. We got a 10% discount because we stayed at the hotel next door. Mostly bueno.

We read bad reviews and still tried it because we were staying at the hotel adjacent. I am stunned by the bad reviews. We got the wings because one review did say they were the best in town and that was very accurate! Big and juicy wings. We got lemon pepper and the sauce was incredible. My daughter got the kids taco and it was quite big! My wife got a guava margarita and she loved it. She got the seafood soup and it was ENORMOUS!! She really enjoyed it. I got shrimp with garlic sauce and it was so fresh and tasty!! The meals come with your choice of corn or flour tortilla. The tortillas tasted homemade and fresh.

First time customer. Good ambiance, Clean, Comfy seats. – T Chips typical out of a package – Salsa was a thin tomato sauce with little substance – BOGO House Margarita was OK. Mostly mix, not much tequila – Guacamole dip “lost” the main ingredient (Avocado) amid a bunch of unneeded ingredients – Pico de gallo mostly liquid (Photo shows 2 servings drained) – Entr’ee was the “San Diego Plate”– Generous portion, Served very quickly…seemed like yesterdays’ leftovers reheated, Somewhat bland…lacked the seasoning that makes a Mexican inspired dish, Everything edible, just not great Mexican fare – Value for the $$…Not bad. Check was for 2 people – Server was great – Will I go back?…Probably not.

San Diego’s was absolutely amazing! The service was excellent. The guacamole was so fresh and chunky! The Asada tacos were stuffed to overflowing. The gigantic burrito was full of chicken and flavorful. The salsa and fresh chips are on point! To top it off, the prices were extremely reasonable! I will be a repeat customer for life.

We have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that would replace one we frequented in Lakeland. We finally tried this location and were pleasantly surprised. The menu is varied and even includes wings and burgers. They have a slightly different flavor to their Mexican which was refreshingly good. The waiter even made adjustments so I could get a dish without meat; he had them put it on the side so my husband could take it home for lunch the next day. The portions are large and very filling. We will definitely be back.

I went to San Diego’s Mexican Grill and Sport Bar yesterday and ordered a chicken chimichanga. I was told it came with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream but when I got home, all I had in my container was the chimichanga with nothing else. For $20 (plus a $5 tip on takeout), this was really disappointing.
The mango drink I ordered was extremely thick, overly concentrated, and didn’t taste authentic at all. Overall, the food and drink did not match what was promised or the price I paid.
Very disappointed with this experience. I won’t be returning, and I don’t even want a refund I just want others to be aware.

We love this restaurant! The food is amazing! I love the milanasia. I usually order extra chicken. I could do without the fries but everything else is great. My parents are also obsessed with the food. We like the food so much we order extra to go. The only thing is sometimes the building has a sewer oder I’m almost positive is the hotel connected to the restaurant. Anyway we love this place they are always well priced and service is fast.

Food was fine. Attitude of employees was inappropriate. I requested the Touch tunes speakers to be adjusted a little higher so I could hear what I paid for. After some squabbling it was done. So I went to a nearby large party and enquired as to whether it was too loud. This set off a level of huffiness and ignoring me for 15 minutes to pay my bill ( they actually wrapped silverware while ignoring me). The manager was not interested in hearing me out, simply comping my meal and booting me out the door. I have attempted to contact him to pay for my meal, as I did eat it to no avail. I was advised that no one knew when he would available, his name was not obtainable. So I guess I can go tomorrow and wait for his presence to pay for my bill. Please.
