A very nice, spotless, cozy diner. Place was very clean (I was skeptical as it is located next to the gas station’s convenience store but once I got in the diner, I forgot about the surroundings. Tables, floor and the open kitchen were shiny and spotless. Not as the regular places that tables are sticky!
The food was great, excellent non stop coffee (and smiles from the sweet lady serving), we ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon, hush puppies, fish and chips, and all were delicious, fresh and served hot. They even have a very good sugar free syrup .
Since it was almost lunch time I took a good look at the menu and they feature many different dishes to please all tastes. Plates served at other tables looked very appealing and they were generous so we de died we are definitively coming back to try those.
Not to mention all staff greeted us and service was great.
I definitively recommend this place. It’s worth the drive even if you are not close by.

This restaurant was recommended by my brother . So myself and a friend decided to check it out .
We arrived there just before lunch time . My brother recommended the flounder plate which I ordered and so did my friend. Well I didn’t have to wait no more than 7 minutes for my order to arrive at our table . I got flounder , slaw, hush puppies and fries .
The flounder was ok , not great . It was overbreaded as most flounder I’ve tried . Except for Mayflower and Libby Hill . I wish a restaurant like Libby Hill and thier style of serving seafood would come back to Greensboro N.C.
I’m pretty sure San Andreas is a good value for your money on other dishes . Meat and 2 vegetables style . But that will be on another visit there sometime in 3026.

Good food, even better prices, an asset to the local community as well as the truckers passing through.
Philly sammy and a cheese burger with a side each was just under 20.00 before tip, breakfast menu looks great will def have to try too.

Quite possibly THE best $10 double cheeseburger I’ve had in years – and that included a side of hot, freshly made fries. Great lunch!

2nd time i have ordered at this place,the food is great but you better check your order before you leave.I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger and received a bacon cheeseburger,was supposed to have a side of A-1 sauce which i did not receive!!! They can’t get the order right because God forbid if you call in an order the person taking your order will stop and run the register causing them to loose track of what little mind they have,which in return causes your order to be wrong every damn time!!! Do one or the other since you can’t do both!!! I choose to spend my money here,but trust and believe i don’t have to!!! And the damn fact that you try and not make it right makes me think even less of this place!!! So thank your help for this review and the 1 star for service,to bad i couldn’t rate it a negative 5!!!

Although I’ve never had luck with the fish or beef tips (always seems a little gross), most food items are great. Service is better than average. However, I am very unhappy about a recent change to card usage fees. They now charge a 4% fee to use debit or credit card. Visa strictly limits this practice to the actual fee the merchant pays or 3%, whichever is less. The merchant pays no fees for debit transactions; so, Visa prohibits it altogether. I checked directly with Visa to make sure. MasterCard has no such limitations.
