I want to start with saying the food was good. We didn’t have an issue with our server, but there was a table that was seated before us, and a table after us, by about 15 minutes, that table had food before us or the table that was sat before us…. we were sat at 7:45 pm, then we finally ordered at 8:22pm, and food was starting to cook at 8:42 pm…. the table that was sat after us were leaving by the time we even got food. The other people we were sat with were rather upset about it as well. Then came the bill, they showed us one bill then when they ran the card it was a different price… they added the total with tax and then did 18% gratuity, off of that, not the total of the bill….. will not be going back kinda shady place….

Went there on NYE. We had a party of 12. First was told we had to wait for most of the party before they sat us. It was NOT busy and we planned on getting appetizers and drinks anyway while we wait. Finally they let us sit. We then Asked for separate checks was told no. Now I can understand if it was busy like they anticipated but it was NOT. They refused to split the checks. Mind you the weather was horrible and people were already on the way Thank goodness someone was able to cover it. But there was no reasoning the only thing I can think of is gratuity. But what that server didn’t understand is she is being ripped off. Gratuity wasn’t even 20%. Plus she has to tip out. That restaurant is scamming their servers and they are losing customers. We go out as large groups all the time. OUR BILL WAS OVER $600! We will never bring our group back. Not to mention service was slow. Took her 15 min to get drinks and she would drop them off and run away. Even though other people had joined…needed to order drinks or appetizers…

Yummy, and the owners are very nice and professional, very friendly and welcoming. Their family works hard and well to keep it going. I appreciate that and see alot of hard work put into it. To me that is special in its own. I would eat here again! Recommend it

Been coming here for years and sad to learn they are under new ownership. Increased prices while the quality of the noodles and fried rice has decreased. Upgrade to fried rice for an additional $4. Picture on the menu shows rice with green onions and carrots and peas. They come with just three eggs mixed in for a table of 6+ people.

Little Kitty

I asked for a really fun chef to do a hibachi experience with first time kids . They delivered ! The kids were laughing and engaged the entire performance . Kids are 6 and 9 years old . The chef went above and beyond to talk to the kids and play with them . I was impressed . I only ate cucumber rolls , which were good . Kids seemed to enjoy the food and the koi fish in the water at the front door .

Very disappointed with our recent visit. Steak prices jumped from $28 in 2025 to $35.00 in 2026 for Hibachi Steak and on top of that, an automatic 25% gratuity was added to the bill — with another line still asking for an additional tip.

That combination feels excessive and not customer-friendly. If you’re going to raise menu prices significantly, automatically adding a high gratuity (and then prompting for more) crosses a line.

We’ve enjoyed coming here in the past, but this experience left a bad taste. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Very disappointed! I called prior to ordering for take out to ensure there were no potential allergies. I asked everything that comes with the hibachi. No once was I told about shrimp/ shellfish. When I got my order and checked there were shrimp mixed in with my chicken and my steak hibachis. I’m extremely allergic to shellfish and had to throw out the whole the whole meal. The fact I called and asked about this prior to ordering is very upsetting and was told nothing.

The food tastes great! I had steak hibachi with noodles & fried rice. Delicious! The place can stand a good cleaning & fresh coat of paint. Sat in a booth & the wall was filthy. While the server was friendly but it took 8 minutes to get water. A guy sitting at front didn’t try to help…he just said the server will be with you. No sign of “team” effort.

Seated immediately at our reservation time, accommodations for eleven people plus a high chaired child. Quick, friendly, attentive service.
Our chef was Albert, he made us laugh, played games with us, cooked steak to each person’s individual liking, hot & fresh.
Waiter was prompt, correct on all orders and friendly, sorry I forget his name tho he had those drinks refilled before our last sips. Chef and waiter were extremely patient with the four children in our group.

Restaurant was well kept, I did not visit the powder room however overheard ladies was messy and needed a once over.

Overall a nice experience for such a large group, I would recommend Samurai Steakhouse for your big birthday celebration or even just an afternoon lunch.

In the past, this restaurant has been hit or miss. Under the new ownership, my family had a great experience and there was nine of us. I was pleasantly surprised to see some friendly faces who used to work at Pita Way move on up to the restaurant. Highly recommend.
