I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is! Not only have they maintained very reasonable prices over the years, but the quality has never faltered. So many sushi places have skyrocketed in price to the point I can’t justify going there anymore- not Samurai! I can order and stop in anytime without breaking the bank but knowing I will get amazing food. Their sushi lunch special is a staple for me and I’m so grateful they’ve kept it on the menu. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and I love the atmosphere. My most recent order (pictured after I devoured a couple nigiris) was perfection. The fish to rice ratio is something I cannot get anywhere else- they don’t skimp on the fish! Their miso soup is so flavorful and I love that they still give it as a side. I would be lost without Samurai! Thank you for always delivering quality sushi

Had a wonderful experience here. I had ordered the Pan chicken garlic sauce dish and it was absolutely delicious. Along with the California and spicy crab roll it was all super tasty. I highly recommend them. They did have a little bit of a wait but they are taking their time to cook your food perfectly.

Always delicious! Been here many times, and the service and food never disappoint. This is the only place I’ve found in Fargo that actually has high quality sushi rolls. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Food was lukewarm on arrival. I ordered mixed sushi, to find that I was given a bare bone mixture of unseasoned fish atop overcooked rice (a crime for this type of restaurant). I was not given chopsticks to eat this. I ate some of it, including the salmon, which was warm and not fresh. Some of it had a off-odour and I had to spit it out. I ordered tomyum soup, which tasted nothing like the real thing I had in Thailand. A meagre blend of vegetables in a translucent orange-ish broth with three sad strips of chicken sitting in it. Finally, an appetizer of steamed pork wontons. Almost impossible to mess up. They were cold, unseasoned, and didn’t even taste like pork.
After reading the raving reviews I’ve heard of this place, I expected much better. I will not be eating here again.

It’s North Dakota which is far from any ocean so start your sushi expectations with that it mind. However, it was descent sushi presented nicely. Nothing super amazing but at least made freshly. The atmosphere is less than desirable, it feels like a mix of several different restaurants put together to create this one. Everything was clean but just had seen lots of use over the years.

Basil shrimp was full of sugar.. they use way too much sugar and then I was blamed for not telling him that I didn’t want sugar in my stir fry (I get using a little bit of sugar if the flavors need balanced) this was sugar overload. The Tom Yum soup was luke warm and had no flavor, whatsoever. Serving the stir fry on a fajita skillet is an awful idea normally you would enjoy a little rice and seasoning mixed together, but there was no room to even do that. So disappointed!

This place was a great experience! We were struggling to find a nice place on a Sunday night, and this fit the bill. I had the rainbow roll and green dragon roll, and my husband had shrimp curry noodles, paired with some carbonated sake. Both meals were great!! Good quiet atomosphere. Kind, quick service. I was super surprised that it was so quiet for a Sunday night. Try the entrees if you don’t like sushi! I definitely recommend!

As a fan of Asian cuisines, this was a great find! Compared to New Jersey, their prices were much less, and their portions were generous. The server was nice. We ordered the Green Dragon Roll, the Magic Roll, salmon and flying fish roe, and chicken katsu. Everything was delicious. This place is worth the trip!

Came by today for the first time, and WOW. What a beautiful and charming restaurant! This is one of the cleanest places I have been inside in a long time.
