We came in for lunch and were greeted and seated right away. I had heard there is sometimes a wait so I’m assuming it may be more of a dinner wait as we were the only ones there for lunch. When we ordered, the waiter said he would check on gluten free items for me and mentioned they could make our side of chicken gf which was very appreciated. The food was excellent and I highly recommend the seaweed salad. Husband and I both really enjoyed our lunch and I would come back again. It was great!

Harrisburg finally has a hidden gem!
Decided to give this place a try since it was family dinner night and it had high reviews. Let me tell you, I was actually surprised. The portion sizes were as phenomenal as the food. For entrees, I ended up getting the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp while my fiance got the Hibachi steak, chicken, and shrimp. Both came out great. We had so much left over that we had to get to-go boxes. Trust me when I say we will be back!

Great food and service! You get a LOT of food so best to go in on an empty stomach or plan to split one meal between two or three people . Chicken and Steak Hibachi is our go to. Appetizers are great. Have yet to try any of the Sushi.

The food was amazing and the portions are great for the price. The chicken Gyoza and the hibachi chicken noodles were both dishes I would gladly get again. The service was quick and they were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

A rare find for a small town like Harrisburg. Having grown up in Orange county CA with unlimited sushi options you end up being rather picky about your California roll. Samurai is one of the better hole in the wall locations. They are new, so give them some grace. The 5 star review is due to good service, a pleasant/clean environment and flavorful food.
I was surprised to find the California roll quite enjoyable. There are few places here in SD that knows how to make sushi rice correctly. Samurai has the correct consistency and flavor.
I would recommend stopping in and trying the place at least once, who knows you might become a regular. (Now if only I could find a location here that makes a lobster roll…)

Ordered takeout and was blown away. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the flavors were amazing, and the portions were HUGE. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was clearly made with care. This is easily some of the best sushi in the Sioux Falls area. We’ll definitely be back!

Decided on a whim to give this place a try. We are not sushi fans but the hibachi was DELICIOUS! I had the chicken and my husband had the steak. We shared a plate of crab ragoon which was perhaps the BEST crab ragoon we’ve had in years! We were not expecting a huge plate of food either! If you’re super hungry or want to be able to have some leftovers for later, then you need to stop in and enjoy a meal here! You won’t be disappointed.

We have never been disappointed coming here. The food has always been phenomenal!! Service is friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make up for a simple missing item in our take out order. We didn’t receive our side order of chicken and when I went back they not only sent me back home with the chicken but with extra rice and veggies. All employees there are just so accommodating. I cannot express how impressed and happy we are to have this place in our neighborhood

We have now been here at Samurai for about an hour. Granted they are new. They have only been open for 3 days. But we have been at our table for about 30-45 minutes, have ordered but have only received our Vegetable Rolls. Well, that and someone else’s dinner, which was then taken back and then delivered to the next table. They didn’t like that very much. Now they just brought my wife and I the wrong order. We both ordered the Hibachi Chicken Noodle and were brought the Hibachi Chicken which comes with Rice instead of Noodles. Also we were told either Soup or Salad, neither of which we have seen. My wife ordered the Onion soup and I ordered the salad with Vinegar. Now we are told that our meal comes with both soup and salad and the salad only comes with Ginger.
Our dinner finally has arrived, correct this time. Basically an hour and a half after we arrived. It’s okay, nothing I would be going out of my way to come for again. I am not a Sushi guy so I can’t rate their Sushi. The Onion Soup was outstanding! The salad was just not good.
Overall I say this place will trend for a while. Their service needs a ton of work and help. The server we had is young and obviously very inexperienced. He just kept bringing the wrong orders to the wrong tables.
10 tables total currently with 4 seats at each for a total of 40 people but way too few staff. The atmosphere isn’t very Japanese. **They do offer military ️ discount.
