A first for me. Dining in an Amish home. Providing the info in case you maybe interested. Of course no photos of individuals but a couple to give you an idea. Food is served family style. I cannot give you an idea of costs since I did not make arrangements. I will return with friends.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this location! Our family wanted to try an Amish meal and let me tell you, Samuel and Ruth lap house did not disappoint! What a wonderful time our bus group had at Samuel and Ruth’s house. Food was absolutely delicious, service was quick but not rushed. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. We truly felt at home.

A group of six widows attended. The food was delicious! The seating was reminiscent of a family reunion.
Beverages were tea and water, they started with fresh bread and butter, strawberry jelly and peanutbutter spread. Salad was served and pickled beets were on the tables.
Roast beef and Chicken were tender and savory. Mashed potatoes and noodles.
Coffee was offered and then Apple crumble, with ice cream and a fruit ‘pudding’.
