This is your place for breakfast. Delicious unique menu that you don’t find anywhere else in town. Perfect portion sizes. Freshly baked muffins and cinnamon rolls too!

My best friend took me for my birthday. We had brunch and I noticed shirred eggs on the menu. I asked my friend, “What’s that?” OMG my eggs were silky smooth swimming in a bath of butter and cream that just melted on my tongue and the spinach added the perfect earthy undertone for balance. I also ordered a German Sausage that was the perfect blend of spices. My bread was so flavorful and chewy. Everything is homemade with quality fresh ingredients and love. I was seduced by the decadent freshness! Seating is available inside and out but is limited. Get there early and expect to wait, because Sam’s is a busy cafe. I promise the wait will be worth it! I left hungry for more, and will definitely go back.

Generally the staff was friendly (especially the nice lady at the counter!), vibes were okay. I liked the local art for sale on the walls and the music. The food was good.

I however have a ton of nitpicky complaints that are minor. Like:

Self serve water
Dry muffins (should be served with butter to alleviate)
Frittatas were very wet
Jelly portion was paltry

Greeting upon entry was weird.

I wish we would have come here sooner! They have amazing breakfast and lunch dishes made with high quality ingredients. Although it appears to be pricey, they had huge portions for the two dishes we ordered. I just love how unique the dishes are. The sausage is amazing!

Went in and waited nearly 10 minutes by the “Wait to be seated” sign. It wasn’t busy, we were the only ones waiting to be seated, and the two workers did not acknowledge our presence. The “service” at this place sucks as others have noted. Avoid.

Never had shirred eggs before, they were yummy (with lots of butter and cream you can’t miss!), mine had lots of ham. Were very tempted by the cinnamon rolls but stuck with a blueberry muffin which was delicious!
