My partner wanted to try something new for lunch and she picked Sam’s. Our expectations were high because of TikTok (yes we were influenced lol) however we were disappointed. Customer service is great but the food was average. I can say the food was hot and fresh upon being placed on the table but it was average. I’m 100% sure we won’t be back.
I got the strips and 2 sides, the strips were used with real meat, fries were okay, and the red beans taste like Copeland’s. My partner got the hot sausage po boy but she said it wasn’t spicy (which is weird). Give it a try and let me know what you think

Beautiful made food and the chicken is the one especially made with great crust.. service is great. The chicken is not dry and it’s a great price for cooked chicken. I will be trying the rest of their menu.. you can order as well .. it is in front of Walmart and the old Burger King building on the left side.. it smells great when you go in the building. The staff wonderful young lady . You all cook great keep up the good work ..your chicken can run many out of business especially with different flavors.. ❤️

Well my wife surprised me with their fish platter. Well isn’t the traditional breading on it. It had like SeasonAll in it, and it was pretty salty at that. The Tarter Sauce also wasn’t traditional either it was like a cross between normal Tarter sauce and Caines Sauce with SeasonAll added. The Fries weren’t traditional either they were a cross between regular fries and Arby’s Curly fries,and we’ll they didn’t taste bad just not normal. Coleslaw wasn’t made the normal way either, it had like a creamy texture to it. It’s like they tried to reinvent the Fish Platter with their own twist to it. Eating this platter was like watching a redo of your favorite movie and it was a flop. I choked down two of the four weirdly flavored fish spears, ate two of the French fries and couldn’t take it anymore and threw it in the trash outside. The only saving grace was the weirdly orange colored dinner roll, it was really good. It was kind of a cross between a good Dinner Role and Miss Schubert’s and a cake Doughnut, pretty tasty. If want traditional, this isn’t for you. If you want food with a weird twist on it to break up the normal give it a try. But I don’t think we’ll be going back, I prefer traditionally cooked recipes. If you like Fish Platters try Peck’s on East Gause.

I got the number 16, with shrimp/fish, coleslaw, and fries. It is 1) delicious 2) enough for 2 people 3) seasoned and fried perfectly
Everything lightly battered and seasoned well , dinner roll is deep fried which I’ve never had, and highly recommend. Tartar sauce hits, yes it has seasoning in it. My only 4/5 on the plate was coleslaw , I prefer less dressing but it’s very much like a Popeyes coleslaw, but less sweet. Catfish was cut thin enough so it’s crispy, the shrimp are def jumbo.

The staff was very nice and inviting, and the inside is no-fuss tables and booths.

The seafood plate #16 was a delightful feast! Crispy fried fish and shrimp were perfectly seasoned, and the golden fries complemented them beautifully. The standout for me was the red beans—exceptionally flavorful—paired with a tangy dipping sauce for the seafood that made each bite irresistible. Highly recommended!

Love this place! The food is amazing and the staff super friendly and very helpful. They have a very extensive menu and Everything I’ve had from here so far has been delicious! All the food is seasoned so well. The jumbo shrimp are just that; jumbo, and so tasty. I HIGHLY recommend this spot! I’ll be returning many times.

This place is wonderful! Fish, Burgers, shrimp, galore. Take the bread and add butter, you get the most delicious thing ever. The fries were seasoned well and hush puppies were good. 10/10 would recommend.
