Good food and friendly staff. Pretty busy, lots of take out orders. There is room for improvement with atmosphere, order process, and little things. The food more than makes up for it!

I’m from southern Mississippi, so I can say that this place has southern cooking done right! The shrimp po’Boy was delicious, especially with the special sauce. The breading on the meat is crispy and delicious, but not too heavy. The hush puppies are to live for! And the portions on everything are very generous! You could easily share an entree. And the kids meals are also a shareable size, so it is possible to eat here with 2+ people, spend less than $20 and still be full. As a bonus, the staff are so friendly and attentive. They bus your table, so there’s no need for multiple trash receptacles around the dining area, like another reviewer said. Give this place a try! You won’t be sorry!

The food was very excellent the shirmp I got was completely breaded and fried, which kept the inside hot many minutes after receiving my food. The breading didn’t have any flavor and was thick, but I didn’t care. The red beans and rice were warm and delicious. The staff was very cheerful and diligent in there duties. Anyways I would eat there again.

I thought the prices were great. Except nowhere in the store including the menu does it say how much a coke cost except the receipt. With that said the gizzards were very tender. Only problem was the had no flavor at all. I couldn’t eat them. Just left them on the table. My wife’s fries were old. I however got fresh delicious fries.

Nice staff, clean but needs better decor if your claiming Southern Eatery. Fried tomatoes were excellent, chicken strips juicy.. red beans and rice not southern.. gizzards need some work. Coleslaw tasted store bought. I would go again but they need to up their game.

Not good their fryer is set to hot . Everything we had was overdone hush puppies shrimp fish chicken. Chicken would like long fingers. I think they took chicken fillets and cut them in half looked weird . Red beans and rice were good. I think the owners need to sit down and eat some of their meals a couple of times. Don’t think I’ll be returning there. luftis has nothing to worry about .

Just ate here for the first time. Will be the only time. Crab cakes…fake frozen gross. The fried fish was ok but dry. Shrimp and cheeseburger was the best out of all the food we had. Wasn’t worth almost $50 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Cheap , cheap excuse of a restaurant. But they had a cheerful staff. Fried shrimp was pre breaded & flash fried. This resulted in 1 shrimp being warm & othes below room.temp
Cheese burger seemed like precooked & precook & barely warmed with cheese straight from fridge. Prices where that of a restaurant with established cooks. This was not these guys. Just cheap food with normal prices.

So much food! We each ordered a platter, which proved to be way more food than we could eat for lunch. Number 16 Tilapia platter and number 18 shrimp and tilapia platter. Tartar sauce (house made) was more like a remoulade, and super delicious! I loved it! Going into food coma now… Come on Blue Springs, keep these folks going. Nice addition to the usual restaurant suspects in town!
