Food is awesome! Shrimp soooooo gggooodd. We will be back on our next trip to Lousianna. It was so good my husband drove back to Houston with a piece of fish, so I could taste it. You can say whatever but this place is good. My fried Shrimp was really good. And they are a very nice size shrimp. The staff is really friendly , the girls give you a home feeling. We will be back

UPDATE: I tried the dessert coconut cream pie and it was just amazing! Now I can’t wait to go back and have it again.
ORIGINAL: Overall the food was really good and we will return. The fried mushrooms were perfect. The fried onion rings were ok. The hush puppies were initially overcooked and when asked if they could be redone, they happily did a reorder. The new hush puppies were much softer inside. I personally didn’t like the taste of the hush puppies but others at the table liked them. The french fries were really delicious. The fried shrimp and fried fish were also very good! We arrived about 7:30 at night and were the only patrons in the restaurant and our waitress was wonderful. We will definitely go again and try other sides.

This place is awesome! If you like good catfish or shrimp, Please stop here. Everything we tried was great and seasoned just right! The red beans and rice are seasoned to perfection. The waitress was super sweet and helpful. She treated with great southern hospitality!

The food was amazing and the prices were great for the amount of food. 🙂 We tried the fried catfish, mashed potatoes, red beans and rice, french fries, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles, hush puppies, and the shrimp. It was all very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. 🙂 It came out fast and fresh. I just cant say enough about how great it all was. We will most definitely be coming back again and again. 🙂

Ate here passing through from Louisiana to Texas. Delicious catfish and shrimp. Very fresh, very tasty. I had fried catfish and both fried and grilled shrimp. The shrimp are large and sweet. The catfish is not “muddy” tasting at all. The sides were not bad, just un-remarkable. Robin, our server was very sweet and attentive. We would definitely stop in again if we’re ever this way again.

I love the gyro sandwiches but the pricing includes fries. I could eat the fries if they fried them in a separate vat from the shellfish. I could also eat the fish and any other fried food you had that wasn’t shellfish. Why limit your customers? I’m sure I’m not the only one that has a shellfish allergy. The staff has been very friendly and helpful.

Better than you would expect. Coleslaw was fresh and cold, we were also provided a fresh side salad. The fried fish fried pickles and fried okra were hot and fresh. The grilled shrimp were fresh, clean, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. We would go again.

The food is fantastic. Perfectly fried fish and okra. The oysters were huge. The price is very good for the amount of food you get. They don’t spend a lot on decor because they are spending it on good quality food.
