Update June 2020. Different vibe and service here. We tried the crab boil and it was big disappointment; cold corn cold crab , no andouille sausage or shrimp. Our friend had the grill shrimp which was good. Will stick with the catfish and shrimp next time. Don’t bother with the crab boil.

You go up front place your order, receive a number and cup and find yourself a seat and wait for the good food to arrive.
Me and wife both had the number 17, which comes with catfish and jumbo shrimp and two sides; (side choices – corn, coleslaw, fries, red beans and rice, green beans, mashed potatoes).
The shrimp was huge, crunchy and flavorful, catfish was perfect, red beans and rice was excellent as well, coleslaw is coleslaw, good and creamy, jalapeño hush puppies are awesome. Price is very good for the portions.
Highly recommend this place.

Second time eating here. It was very good both times. I ordered the four piece fish dinner with green beans and mashed potatoes. Both times received 5 pieces instead of four. More than I could eat. Looking forward to going back.

We ate here tonight while we were in town. I don’t believe the owner has decided to abide by the new guidelines to be offering dining in. I was for sure not about to use a bottle of cocktail sauce or ketchup or tartar sauce that has been left on the table for everyone to share. It for sure needs to be updated.
The fried shrimp we had was amazing! I couldn’t eat enough. The red beans and rice were made with pork and beans and would have been good had they not used them to stretch the original dish. The green beans were seasoned way too much for myself.
I would definitely eat the fried food again as a to go order. Hopefully on a night that the sides are fresh.

Was sitting very close to where you place order your order. Said they called my name, could have tried a lot harder! Need a better way of doing this!
The catfish fillets were very good, so are the shrimp. Would come back for those. Cocktail sauce is very good, tartar sauce is different, didn’t care very much for it.
The fried green tomatoes are much better at the Cotton Patch, green beans are better there also. Cole slaw was OK. The 2 hush puppies were small and not great. Diet coke is good. Going to try the salad with the chopped fried chicken next time, looked really good!

This place was quite the surprise. Its a chain restaurant, and I happened upon it while I was in Chickasha. The restaurant was clean, simple decor because the surprise is in the taste. I ordered a 2 piece fish kids plate. Fish was fried catfish and it was perfection. I had a side of red beans and rice and it carried a little spice and home cooked taste to it. My only critique would be the menu. It needs to be simpler. Aside from that prepare your taste buds to be delighted.

They were out of the chicken that 6 of the 10 people with us ordered so we left. They made us wait forever before they seated us. Tables and seats were gross. The very young waitress failed to tell us what they were out of while taking our order. We were there for just under an hour when the cook came and said they had no chicken and would have to re-order. So we left and went to THE COTTON PATCH. It was really good!!?

Best shrimp I’ve had in a long time. I’m from Gulf Shores, AL, so I know good seafood and it’s been hard to find up here. Sam’s is my go-to place when I want shrimp. Big, plump, and delicious, these shrimp are not overcooked or overbreaded. Good stuff!
