Food was good, especially liked the fish and red beans and rice. Waitress was great, wish I would have gotten her name. Weird cons, ketchup on the table was disgusting, fries were cooked perfect but the ketchup was just awful. GV ketchup would have been better.

Definitely a local spot because tons of locals eat here. When you find out where the locals eat, you know you’re in for a treat. Great portion of fried catfish and the green beans were delicious. Lots of different items to choose from. We had fish left over and reheated it in the air fryer…yummy.

We had a nice meal there with a local friend. Food was tasty and portions were ample. The heat was broken but there was a nice roaring fire in the fireplace! Our waitress was friendly, prompt and attentive. Atmosphere is dark and rustic.

Tried the new location on Phoenix. The fish was a real disappointment—tough, skinny, and nowhere near what it should be. Usually the fish was great on Grand ave..tried Phoenix location…Fish was terrible, skinny…tough…. could not eat it. also had an old grease aftertaste of the other food. waitress asked to take it back…. Fries were great. Waitress was kind.

Food was over cooked! Okra was terrible! Hushpuppies are a joke, if that’s the only way I could put hushpuppies on a plate, I wouldn’t even serve them! They have really went down from when I used to go eat here years ago. I will not ever go back. When I asked the waitress about food, she said she would credit my bill, it was a dollar & 32 cents cheaper! $ 1.32 this place sucks! It was cold in there also. The owner should go eat at the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville or Alma and learn how to make his food better.

Have eaten here several time’s since they have opened this location. Food has always been good service has been decent. Until tonight the service was horrible. We received our drinks, waited 20 minutes no one ever returned to our table. We left with with never being served.

Our waitress, Alanna (I may be spelling that wrong) was AWESOME. Catered to my food allergy and made sure we were taken care of. First time I’ve had grilled fish with peppers and onions; fantastic! Highly recommend eating here!!!

Whatever cost they’re cutting needs to be changed back!! The strips are different, the condiments are nasty. My grilled chicken on my salad was full of gristle. This was my absolute favorite spot for chicken but I guess not anymore. It’s a damn shame!
