Cute small-town restaurant with excellent service. The food came out quickly and the portions are good. Everything was okay, no worse and no better, but we didn’t try the pastas or any seafood which I hear is what they are known best for. Will definitely return on occassion.

This is my second dining experience here. The first time I had a sampler of fried catfish, shrimp, and crab cakes with a side of green beans. All were good. So good, I came back for the shrimp with onion rings. Top notch seafood. The ladies were really nice and helpful. Brayle was a super server. Good place to eat.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They serve fried/grilled fish, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp, legs and chicken, along with red beans & rice, slaw, hush puppies, corn, okra, and green beans, Lexi was our server and she provided over the top service. Food was prepared as ordered, we received generous portions regarding every entree. The whole fried fish was impeccable. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I would recommend Sam’s Southern Eatery to anyone passing through or the locals. Thank you ALL for a tasty and enjoyable meal.

I usually get the large fried shrimp PO boy. It’s delicious! Sometimes I get the Philly Cheese steak which is just as good. Orders are always cooked upon ordering. There’s a large eating area. You can also eat at the counter. Service is kind of slow when they’re busy. There’s also a casino next door for those who like to give away money.

Used to love this place . My daughter wanted to try there food after I told her about it , so we went Sunday and we sat there for 50mins no one acknowledged us or gave us any menus . Two servers went too three different tables next to us talking to guests. Five guest came in mins after us and there orders were taking immediately . So we got up and left .
