We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! First time there and will return. Had great clam chowder, fish and chips, and chicken strips and tots. Not healthy but delicious flakey breading! Great sauce too!

Don’t be scared by it’s looks- very friendly, great bar staff, trivia night and karaoke are always fun. Food is quality smoked chicken and pork. They have a breakfast menu and some breakfast cocktails. 4 different house made barbecue sauces representing each region of bbq. I used to like the food at sam’s but the last 3 times it was so slow and not good at all. They didn’t have the French dip anymore which was probably the best there. They messed up the order half the time. Only referencing the food. I do think it’s a fun neighborhood bar but I wouldn’t waist money on the food
