The owner is back in the kitchen and boy is he talented. Ingredients are high quality. Bacon is the expensive kind the prices here are cheap.

I had a fantastic breakfast at Sam’s Restaurant today, and it’s definitely a spot worth visiting! The food was outstanding—high-quality dishes like fluffy pancakes, perfectly scrambled eggs, and thick, crispy bacon (not that paper thin crap). Everything was fresh and well-prepared, using ingredients that really stand out. Sometimes, you’ll even catch the owner on the grill, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his dishes—every plate comes out just right. Plus, he’s a really nice guy, which adds to the whole experience. The portions are generous, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality, making it an awesome deal for such a great meal.
The waitress, Sam, was an absolute delight. She brought such a friendly, welcoming vibe to the table and was attentive without being overbearing, keeping my coffee topped off and making the experience feel comfortable with her genuine, upbeat energy. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with tables and a bar for seating—no booths, but it’s perfect for solo diners or groups. The relaxed setting makes it a great place to settle in and enjoy your meal. If you want a great breakfast for a great price, Sam’s nails it every time. I’ll probably be back in a couple days!—definitely check this place out!

Stopped in on a whim for something hot on a chilly morning. Went with the Country Breakfast sandwich (with corned beef hash on it) and home fries, and was SO happy. Food was ready in ten minutes and service was attentive and friendly. Looking like my new go-to breakfast spot.

Very quick and friendly service, and quite clean. The food is good, and arrives quickly. Wasn’t the best diner food I’ve ever had, but definitely not the worst. Pretty average fare overall, filling and tasty, but not necessarily exceptional. If you’re looking for some quick and good-tasting diner food, this is a good place to try

When I first came to this restaurant, everything was beautiful, the waiters were friendly, the price was affordable and the food was good. But I just received my bill from my credit card, and they changed my tip amount, which made me very angry and sad. I won’t report it to the bank, because the amount is not large, so I will take it as a lesson. But I won’t come again.

Really excellent food!! Wide variety of pancakes too! It is fairly small without a lot of seating, but the food is good enough to make it worth it. The staff is super friendly and attentive too! The only reason the atmosphere isn’t a five besides the number of seats is because the bathroom is a little awkward to get to.
