Circa-1927 kitschy diner dishing up big helpings of comfort food from breakfast through dinner.

Food was ok. We had BLT and Avocado Toast with eggs. I also had the turkey sausage patties and they were great for turkey sausage! The Bacon on the BLT was very fatty. And the Avocado toast was a little cold. Would of been nice if it were warm. Both the avocado and the eggs. They had a very large selection of food with decent pricing.

Service was very friendly from host to table side waiter. Food was average. Not sure what happened, but burger doneness was swapped between my wife and I.
Side salad was a generous portion with plenty of vegetables and plenty of dressing on the side.
They actually ran out of French fries and swapped that with tater tots. Tater tots were nothing inspirational. Burger was just average.
Staff was attentive and friendly. My party order hamburger without tomato and attentively did not include tomato for side salad. Way to be attentive!

Let’s start with, the food here was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, it was fairly loud, making it hard to talk even just one person over. And because they were so busy, we visited on a Saturday around brunch, we didn’t feel like we had prompt service. We were seated relatively quickly, and the food was out incredibly fast. But we waited for 15+ mins to get the check and boxes.
We will likely return, but plan to get to go instead

Remember that movie “Defending your Life” where he orders food and it comes out in seconds? Yeah that’s what happened to me! Insane fast! Shout out to the amazing cooks – food was perfection. Kevin’s service was also perfection. Great value for cost. Clean in every corner. Love how everyone has cool shirts on, all the artwork is super cool. Great vibe and music. TV’s. A Denver staple.

Service was great, the staff members were super fun, friendly and you can tell that they enjoy being around each other—overall great atmosphere.
It was pretty crowded, so we ended up sitting at a counter top area, but with just the 2 of us it was perfectly fine—if you have a group more than 3, you may not be able to sit right next to each other unless they have more tables opened.
Food wise—I got a pretty basic meal, just something light before a long drive home (still really tasty).
We sat near the kitchen and got to see all the other food that was being prepared and everything looked really good.

We visited yesterday. We haven’t been here in probably 20 years and it’s fairly close to our son’s place so we gave it a go. It was loud and warm on a chilly afternoon and very inviting. The music is just bangin’. The restroom I used was clean. The folks were friendly. The guys enjoyed their meals. We had a patty melt with tots, a giant 6 egg omelette with hashbrowns and I had their version of a Monte Cristo. Everything was good except my meal. Undercooked French toast is gross. It was so soggy. it made me gag. I attempted to just take off the top piece of bread that was truly inedible for me, however the cheese adhered to half the sandwich, and it was a lost cause. Didn’t even eat half my sandwich. And listen, these things happen. I would have told our server and gotten something else, as I was very hungry, but she was also the bartender (another thing, they sat us way back in the bar yet we passed clean booths as we walked through the original restaurant.)
So anyway, I ate what I could and told her when she came to get our payment. (It stinks when your service isn’t attentive. If the bartender is busy, then an actual server should be assigned to us. They were in the bar waiting on other tables.) I was not offended in the LEAST when I told her I couldn’t eat my meal and she took $2 off my $20 meal. That was still on my plate. Nope. Not at all. I just smiled and we left. Never to visit again. Which is a bummer but I’m not going to patronize a business that clearly does not care if their product is a good one. Like I said, bad meals happen but the way our server handled the situation was not at all what I expected from a downtown staple. We travel and eat out A LOT. This was an unexpected response. Literally better to do nothing or ask if I would care to speak to a manager, yeah? To pay $70-80 for BREAKFAST and then I have to eat when we got home…. Tsk tsk.

Mixed American and Mexican food restaurants, just located near 16th street shopping centre. The portions of food are huge and totally fulfilling! Warm service, casual place, recommended for friends and family to share the meals.
I love that Avocado and tomato Benedict, so delicious!

Popular, noisy, authentic diner. The portions are large, the selection is large and varies from everything for breakfast to burgers and sandwiches, to Mexican options.
I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and spinach and it was very good. My family also enjoyed a Reuben, a burger, and the chicken enchiladas and we all cleaned our plates.

Loved it! A must try when in Denver! Cutest diner vibes and the portions are HUGE! Come hungry and share plates for sure. Mason gave great service and awesome recommendations. Pictured is the trailblazer plate with hash browns and eggs, and the Greek omelet with French toast

The establishment offers a convenient location for downtown Denver residents. While the food quality can be quite good depending on the selection, the coffee is consistently subpar. I understand this is a diner, but the coffee quality is notably poor. Frankly, even 7-Eleven offers a superior coffee experience with more options. Having resided in Colorado for some time, I had anticipated an improvement in the coffee brand utilized; however, this has not been the case. I strongly urge management to invest in higher-quality coffee. I recognize the 3.33% surcharge is implemented to mitigate rising food costs, but I suggest allocating a portion of these funds to enhance the coffee offerings.
