We have moved our restaurant to The Bamboo Hotel at 2425 Kuhio Avenue. Our Garlic Shrimp is still the BEST! We now offer cold beer and delicious Maitais! The atmosphere is absolutely BETTER! And we continue to offer takeout. We are open DAILY from 11am-11pm! Always made to order! Always peeled and cleaned shrimp! Always top sirloin chopped steaks! And our world famous fresh made garlic sauce has yet to be bested! All our original sauces are made fresh in house. 13 ingredients in our Garlic sauce. Our Teriyaki sauce is made with fresh ginger, brown sugar and pineapple juice. Come try all our unique items!!

We got the Garlic Shrimp and Ahi Poke from Sam’s Kitchen in Waikiki, and both were absolutely delicious!
The garlic shrimp was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and full of rich garlic flavor. It paired so well with the rice. The ahi poke was super fresh, seasoned just right, and had great texture.
The staff were friendly and the takeout process was quick and easy. We enjoyed the meal with a bottle of wine at our hotel — great portions and excellent value for the price. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Hawaiian flavors in Waikiki!

Ordered the garlic shrimp with ahi for takeout. Shrimp was tasty, but would’ve liked a little bit more of a crunch. Ahi tuna was nice and fresh. Seems like a nice place to eat in even though I orders takeout- a little hidden but has nice seating and by a pool. Very kind and accommodating workers, I showed up as they were cleaning up around 20 mins before closing, and they were willing to make me a takeout order even though it seemed that the kitchen was already beginning to clean up. Thank you!

I always come down here as soon as I land Hawaii! This place offers the best garlic shrimp so far in my life the price has been nearly doubled but still worth to try out!
Definitely come back again and again.

Hidden at the pool of Aqua Bamboo hotel, this relocated restaurant serves up some decent plates in a nice atmosphere.
I got a steak and garlic shrimp plate which is what I picked up several times post pandemic when service was not up to speed yet. Now that it’s up n running again it was nice to sit by the pool and eat while hot.
The Garlic Shrimp is fantastic and I love that the shell is removed. The steak was a bit tough this time but the flavor was on point. I got a terriyaki sauce recommended by the cool server.
Good sevice and comfy setting. Try Sam’s Kitchen.

Food: garlic shrimps was decent but missing the crunch. Spicy garlic shrimps was too spicy for us to enjoy. Potato salas that came with it had too much mayo on it.

We stumbled upon this restaurant a few visits ago and now we make a point to stop by every time we are in Waikiki. It is truly the freshest and most delicious shrimp dish we have had here and we honestly cannot believe this place is not packed all the time.
The outdoor seating area is so cool with a pool, beautiful lighting and tons of plants that make it feel like a little oasis. It is a great spot for larger groups and very kid friendly.
Definitely grab some wine or beer and enjoy dinner here because the prices are incredible for the quality. On top of all that the staff are so personable and welcoming. We just love this place and highly recommend it.

Through the side walk of hotel, you will find a romantic restaurant beside pool.
The mood is so good and food is much more good.

Really solid food and drinks, with friendly service and a super lovely atmosphere by the pool.
The restaurant is a little hidden behind the hotel but you ARE in the right place if you followed the pathway past the little Sam’s Kitchen truck display.
Sadly they ran out of poke, which was the reason I had gone, but the steak was still really good. The spicy garlic shrimp was the highlight, but we also enjoyed the steak and the veggies.
