Okay so I love the logo of the bulldog and since it’s on base it makes it easier if you are already on base. However I think the atmosphere of a “hole in the wall/non-chain restaurant” is what is most appealing. There were 3 of us there for lunch, a party of 3 seated at a table and one person seated at the bar.
The waiter was super friendly, but we had to ask for refills, extra napkins when he would finally make it back to our table. The food took SO long. Take a look at the photos, also. If you order onion rings as a side, you will get 4 onion rings! The buns were cheap and small. The sub sandwich was on stale bread. Now take a look at the fries! They were huge and we found out why–we accidentally ordered the $8 appetizer portion! The fries were good and the chicken sandwich had good flavor even with the bun that wasn’t great. I would say to go for fast food and service even if the food isn’t super great–but the service was just so slow.

Food and service was good and with no issues. Make sure you take a look at your bill…I was overcharged for a drink, an erroneous pizza size, and was told that there’s an 11% sales tax.

The Greek Salad is HUGE! and delicious. You wont be disappointed. Good beer, pizza, sandwiches. I have been coming here every so often for 5 years. Priced well…mom and Pop joint. I hope they never close. Great restaurant.

Great place-4 years ago when I first gave it 4 stars . Sorry I had to update it. Now it’s terrible. I ordered a gyro sandwich and it was confirmed. Also a side salad and I get this garbage. Getting told there was a mix up in the kitchen. Waiter knew it was wrong and still brought it. Gave 1/2 off. If I had time to go somewhere else I would have. Not going back.

We came in with our four young daughters during the Christmas season. Jen was all by herself taking orders, cooking , prepping, and cleaning up and all with a smile on her face. She made my daughter who has a tomato allergy scratch made white sauce for her pizza. My daughter said it was the BEST pizza she has ever had, even better than dominos. Not only did she do that but she hand tossed it since the pizza press was broken. She did not miss a beat going above and beyond for everyone in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the happy attitude made us feel at home. Highly recommend.

Stopped by Sam’s for lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly and put our orders in. Service was a bit slow and they were out of french fries (which meant onion rings for me and salad for my date). I ordered the pastrami sub, my date had a burger.

Usually this place is decently good. In past couple months its rapidly declining in food quality. I ordered the steak and shrimp. Steak was thin, tough, and lacked flavor. Shimp were freezer burnt, then fryer burnt, with soft batter inside. Mashed potatoes cold and dry. Cheesecake was even different. Used to have nice thick slices, now its more like Sara Lee without any topping option. Not sure if its a management issue or sign of the times.

I love the food and I ordered a lot of food and get it in a short amount of time. The drinks were really good and the food was amazing. The fries were also very good, the manager jack was really nice and it was really surprising that he is a waitress, bar tender, cook and, the manager. Definitely coming here again, deserves 10000 stars.
