First time here a couple weeks ago. Didn’t realize they had a drive thru, so I parked, went in and ordered to-go. Ordered the 3 Hot Dog and a drink special. Offered chips but I didn’t need any. Good service.

Stopped there for lunch. Walked in and was rudely told that only the drive through is open. Waitress locked the door behind me when I left so she could go back to texting on her phone. Their broken drive thru doesn’t have a microphone or even a menu board. Bulldoze this place like they did to the crappy mall across the street.

I woke up this morning with a craving for chili dogs that could not be ignored. Sam’s Hot Dogs was recommended to me by multiple community members. I patiently waited until 11 and then made my way there. It’s a cute old school looking hot dog stand with drive thru service and a small inside with a few tables. Exactly the type of vibe I was looking for. The owner was there dishing out dogs and they did not disappoint. I got 3 loaded chili cheese dogs and a drink for under 10 bucks. They were delicious and the spicy chili was on point. You better believe the next time I’m craving a top flight chili dog, this will be where I go.

Best Chili Dogs! Great lunch special with two chili dogs, a bag of chips, and a can of soda for $5.99. They also offer pork barbecue sandwiches and french fries, but no hamburgers here.

The guy at the counter was very nice. The Cole slaw was delicious. Two stars because the hot dogs had no flavor and looked like they were boiled. I’ve heard they are hit or miss… I must have gotten there on miss day. Ok for 2 bucks I guess.

The chili dog with slaw called “all the way” is one of the best hot dogs I’ve ever eaten. It reminded me of the ones I used to get at the movie theater in my hometown when I was a small kid. Terrific!
