I’ve been coming here for years. The food is great, service is great. The owner is very welcoming. If you are hungry, this is the place. Type of place that will not break the bank to go out to eat. Everything is home made. It’s nice to see the owner running the kitchen. He takes total pride in his business. When we go out and spend our money, we want it to stretch as far as possible. You defiantly get what you pay for here and much more!! He could double his prices and still I would come. Yes his food is that good. I tell everyone to go to Sams diner. I never have had anybody say a bad thing about it. Two thumbs up!!!!

Food was good but small portions and not worth the price. For 2 adults and a toddler without any leftovers it was $50 for breakfast. Not including tipping the waitress. Dont think we will be coming back. You can get more bang for your buck elsewhere.

my husband and I had the most delicious Thanksgiving meal today. it began with a cup of moraccon soup, followed with perfectly tender turkey. the stuffing was perfectly seasoned, the green beans were fresh tasting as the cranberry sauce. the mashed potatoes were swimming with thick and delicious gravy. to complete our meal we indulged in a piece of homemade pumpkin pie. thanks to Sam and his family ,oh and the waitress, we will definitely return next year

Awesome place! Great staff! I have had professional meetings here as well as a once a week date for breakfast on the weekends with my adult kids. Love LOVE this place. We will be contracting with them to cater our business meetings (they cater too!).

I absolutely love Sam’s Diner! I could order anything there and not ever be disappointed! I’ve had many new favorite dishes. Everything Is hand made and fresh! He really pours his heart and soul into every dish! Breakfast-corned beef hash, is homemade and out of this world! I love the: Kefta dinner, Moroccan sandwich, chicken parm, gyro, meatloaf, pizza, fish fry. You just really can’t go wrong!

Happened 2 years ago…I don’t know why I still think about this, but we used to go here a lot and my daughter’s loved it. but…they called my company to repair their furnace. we were extremely busy but made a special effort to get there because we liked it and them. upon arrival they cancelled their service call and would not pay for our time. very unprofessional and crappy thing to do especially after we took extra effort to help them. we will never ever go there again, and I tell everyone about how they treat others in their community.

Cute, authentic, SLOW. People are nice, friendly, food is good to ok for small local diner. But be prepared to wait. Service is horrific, not because they’re rude but because you have to flag servers down for everything! To order, for silverware, for food, refills and even the bill. You have to track people down to get anything otherwise it’s like you don’t exist.

Somehow our order got lost between the waiter and the cook. When we finally got our food, it was ok, just ok. A couple of other tables had a few issues, i.e., meals not coming out together, lack of silverware, etc. Might have been a bad day. I’ve been here before and don’t remember any negative experience. The waiter was extremely apologetic.

We live on Lake Tichigan so visit Sam’s frequently. Their food is always as we requested, perfectly prepared and timely. We just enjoy their friendly atmosphere. Wish they had delivery service.
