The Wawa we all used to love & remember.
Located inside of a former local Wawa – Sam’s Deli is the perfect blend between a convenience store + deli. Owned by an extremely friendly family of immigrants. This is truly the perfect stop for blue collar Delco workers. Stop before work, for their W.B Law Coffee Station + home made breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, and platters. Stop during lunch for their home made Dietz & Watson FRESH COLD CUTS (remember when Wawa cut their own meat?) with legitimate portions. Or stop by after work for one of their Mediterranean Chicken & Rice Platters + a coke, and a candy bar. They also have a large selection of snacks, drinks, candy, tobacco, nicotine, etc.
Parking is easy & right out front of the building, with the lot having clear cameras for security.
Inside the place feels open & is immaculately clean.
Everything they sell, including the freshly cooked food is all affordable.
The staff is incredibly friendly. They remember who they’re serving. They’re living the American Dream, and are bringing up our community.
10/10 for Sam’s Deli. They just opened recently, and have all these reviews, with a 5 Star Rating. If you haven’t tried it yet – I’d highly suggest giving it a shot.

Haven’t gotten a single bad item from this place. Everything you order is great, from the hoagies, to the breakfast sandwiches, & meal platters. Great selection of vapes & energy drinks. The staff is pleasant and remember you. You can’t go wrong making a stop here!

My husband and I didn’t feel like driving to Herschel’s and we were looking for something local right here in Delco. We sure found it! We ordered a Pastrami and corned beef sandwich and we also got chicken over rice. Everything was delicious. The establishment was clean and the service was friendly.

My wife and I decided to try their breakfast. As we walked in we received a great greeting by Ronnie and Sam! This place is clean. And the staff is friendly. Most important… the food was great. I had a spinach & mushroom omelet. My wife had a waffle w/bacon. There are many places around that serve breakfast but this food was made fresh and it tasted great. Will definitely be back to try some other items. Will they pass the cheesesteak test… I’ll let you know! Im the meantime, go to Sam’s and get some good food!
