You have to try the famous coney dog! So good. We got the mozzarella sticks with spaghetti sauce and they were delicious. We also got a Ruben sandwich and a patty melt. All very good. Fresh hot food and friendly service

Atmosphere was super friendly and food was cooked to perfection. Me and a friend got a mushroom burger with gravy fries and there fish and chips combo. Everything was fresh and delicious. Seriously this place is amazing and worth the stop. The gravy fries had a beef gravy with a slight mushroom taste and was to die for. Any time I travel down state this will be my new must stop place. Well done on the whole service everyone.

One of our fish fillet were definitely way undercooked and we asked for our potatos to be well done and there were on the edge of being under cooked as well.
Our salads were not fresh or crisp it tasted like it was soft and mushy.

Loved this place! We met family here for dinner on our trip. I have a picky daughter when it comes to food but this place was an exception. She loved her chili dog and fries. My son had the BLT and he loved it. My wife also had the chili dog and she was also very pleased. I had the flint style coney dog and immediately fell in love with it! I even ordered a second one. We had an order of fried pickles that were like no other fried pickles we’ve ever had. They had a little bite to them that really added to our addiction for them. Our server was awesome. So friendly and happy. You would never know this gem was there if you were driving by. Prices were more awesome. We were there around 6:30 and stayed until 8. The locals were coming in for their take out orders frequently which told me this place had a good reputation. Don’t pass this place up!

Sam is by far one of my favorite breakfast places. It’s been a traditional breakfast stop for my family for generations.
Great atmosphere, and the staff is absolutely AMAZING!
I’ve never been disappointed with my food. Neither has my kiddos.
Service most times is beyond our expectations. We try to stay away from busy times and days, so that might be a factor. Last 3 Saturdays we’ve gone we’ve ordered and had our food within minutes.
I love how there are several waitresses that have been there through the years.
Highly recommend their breakfast. Pretty much everything is amazing.

We travel from North Branch almost every Saturday lately to go here. (There are technically 5 closer breakfast places we could go, one only 5 minutes from our home, if that tells you anything.)

Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff who have been there for years, lite turnover. Food very good, nice helpings. You can request light batter on chicken or fish, tweaks on cooking (dark fries), lettuce as a bun. Love the thick juicy pork chops, so large we always have plenty for the next day.
