Wow, Best New Pizza in Daytona Beach! It’s the first time I had Detroit Style pizza and didnt know what it was, but this was AMAZING! I stopped to write this during Survivor Finale 49. There a bowl of perfect crusty cheese and inside sits a deep dish pizza! The bowl holds the au ju like a Cantonese bun!

I ordered a custom pizza from Sam’s Pizza with Kalamata olives and fresh spinach, and it was absolutely amazing. The crust was perfectly baked crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I’ll be definitely coming back with my family!

This place is a gem!! We drove an hour and a half from Orlando to try their pizza! The portions are huge and the quality is amazing!! Everything is made to order and with love! Sam the owner is one of the most hospitable restaurant owners I’ve ever met. Everything we ate was a 10/10 and the service was ♾️/10 . Not pictured but I tried the Philly cheesesteak during another visit and it was PHENOMENAL so much meat and flavor. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, definitely make sure to check out this spot during your visit to Daytona Beach

The pizza it is pretty good,.. overcooked a little bit. The pizza crust has that crisp , when you bite into the ,that you’re looking for. the sauce tastes very good.

Sam’s Coal Fired Pizza is legit one of the best spots I’ve been to in a while. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the food comes out hot.
The wings were the standout for me – crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and really good flavor without being greasy or over-sauced. Also tried their cheese and one of their specialty pies, and both were excellent. Great crust with a little char, tasty sauce, and everything tasted fresh. I’ll definitely be back!!

First time coming here and it def didn’t disappoint 10/10 all around . The bread for the subs and so soft and delish. The Italian sub toppings were so fresh and perfectly assembled. The Philly cheesesteak gave me nostalgia of home in Philly , words can’t describe how excited I was to FINALLY find a real Philly cheesesteak in Florida. The pizza slices are hugeeee , thin crust and heat perfect sauce to cheese ratio . Highly recommend to check SAM’s out if your ever at Daytona beach , the service also was very helpful and a joy to talk too

I came with high expectaions from the prices and an “8.4” Barstool Review. This was more like a 6.6. The pizza was wimpy, doughy and floppy, even though i asked over the phone for “well done”. The cheese and sauce barely made it to the edge, like in the photos. I also tried the Philly. Very chewy meat. I felt like an alpaca. Average at best. As someone who runs a digital agency, I think to have a reputation manager, curating 5 star reviews….

Surprised by the pie they brought….DON’T eat whats for sale by the slice, have them make you one….worth the wait, the grit of the place is soooo cool…grab a beer or soda, and you will be happy with the end result. I will be back!!!

Overly price and NOT worth it.
The girl that took our order was super sweet even tho she took our order wrong to begin with.
But we didn’t really mind since we were going to be there at the beach and could have our son eat it through out. We order a 24” she charged us for a “28.
Taste wise- we order a plain cheese with Mushrooms and spinach.
– it was so much unneeded sauce – the mushrooms were disgusting, don’t know what kinda of mushrooms they were , but they had a sour taste.
We ended up not eating that night and threw the rest away $70 down the drain.
Point is. KEEP LOOKING.
Wish we would’ve read the reviews before trying this.
