I was running errands and saw this place which peeked my interest. The restaurant is clean, with decent foot traffic, mainly for takeout
I dined in, opting for the 2 delicacy on rice for $14 (choose any meat). I got the soy sauce chicken and bbq pork. I’d say they’re both on the sweeter side than what I’ve been used to. Had to ask for extra soy sauce. The rice itself tasted old – kinda on the dry side. service was fast and friendly.
I’d give this place a 3.5, since I’ve had much better BBQ elsewhere

The customer in front of me asked for 1lb of roasted pork but the butcher lady gave him 1.75lb! Then my turn and I asked for a specific cut but she was so bossy wanting to cut her way with burnt pig skin which I hate burnt pig skin. I asked for one pound but tried to upsell me 2 lbs as well. I said no. She got agitated and she cut so sloppy and put in my to go box sloppy and I didn’t get the pig skins I wanted. So disappointed! Not coming back her. I would go back across the street at Ruby’s BBQ with better selection with no burnt skin and better service.

UPDATE: They are closed for renovations right now until 8/1/22.
CASH ONLY. They have the best roasted pork and duck. It’s perfectly seasoned. You won’t be disappointed. I do wish that they opened earlier. They don’t open til 10 am. I have never ordered off the menu. I have only ordered chop suey.
