Had visited on a Thursday morning, was not so crowded. They had kept the lights off on one side, which looks very bad, but yeah service was fast and good decent food , at reasonable prices, worth a visit if you’re around this area and are hungry

Had a good experience in this famous restaurant of old Bengaluru. Nostalgic place.
My service person was excellent. Very attentive and helpful.
The idli and vada combo was good. Filter coffee was nice.
This place is near Metro Sampige Station. Also near Mantri Mall.

This restaurant is still stuck in the 70s and 80s while all other new age restaurants in Bangalore are updating themselves in terms of hygiene cleanliness customer service and food quality to cater to new age customers. Hope they upgrade and train themselves.

Right in the centre of Bangalore, the place is cozy, well connected, great cuisine, great service. Enjoy badam halwa here, vade sambar served hot, we took South mini meals. Very tasty food.

A relatively old restaurant in the heart of the city. We visit here once in a while for south indian food. The masala dosas are not to be missed – aloo masala is just too tasty and the dosas are crispy and thick at the same time. The idlis and vada are good too. Sambar and chutney is average. Jain sambar is available on Sundays. Coffee is average. Badam halwa is extra sweet and can be avoided here. The interiors are rather old and the fans are not cleaned and they can improve on cleanliness.
Service is good. Limited free parking is available in the premises and paid parking in an adjacent ground. Sundays are usually busy but a small group may find a table without any wait.

I recently visited and had a delightful experience. The Babycorn Manchurian was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of crispy texture and rich, savory flavors. The Fried Rice was equally impressive, full of aromatic spices and a great complement to the Manchurian. To top it off, the Gudbud dessert was an indulgent treat—sweet, creamy, and satisfying. Overall, the meal was a fantastic blend of flavors, and I would highly recommend this place for anyone craving a great mix of Indian and Chinese cuisine!

Pathetic food. I had ordered kulcha & kadai paneer. Kadai paneer had like 25 green chillies in it along with red chillies & chilli powder as well. So imagine how spicy it must have been
Kulcha was super dry , you would choke n die eating this hard kulchas
It used to be good like 20 years ago. Would not recommend going to this place
Also all items are over priced
