Stopped in for my first time this past weekend for dinner and overall had a good experience however, the service could’ve been a lot better. It’s located in a small shopping center that has plenty of free parking right out front. Inside is quite small, there are tables to dine in, but most seem to order to go from here. They have many different options on the menu from Brazilian pizza options to traditional Italian American options. They also have sandwiches and desserts.

The issue we had is when we arrived and we walked in there were two ladies behind the counter. One looked at us as soon as we walked up to the counter and then immediately looked away and continued doing what she was doing. Another who eventually took our order, had her back turned for at least five minutes while we just stood there. It was odd to me that the first lady who saw us and didn’t even say welcome or hello or anything, but rather we just stood there and waited for them to finish. Was not a great first impression.

The food itself was pretty good however the center of my pizza was pretty soggy. We ordered a half and half of the Calabresa spicy sausage and Margarita. The flavors were nice, but I don’t think it was cooked long enough or maybe had too much sauce in the middle because the center was very soggy even an hour after I picked it up.

Overall, I would suggest if you are immediately in the vicinity like I am otherwise there are a few more famous pizza restaurants around LA if you are in the mood for the best version that you can get.

We ordered two pizzas and some Brazilian Bites. We were told a time when the ordered would be ready. We showed up at that time and the pizzas were ready and sitting on a shelf but the Brazilian Bites were not. So the pizzas sat on the shelf for another 5 minutes (who knows how long the pizzas had already been sitting) while the Brazilian bites were cooked. Once they were ready, I was handed my food, but they forgot the ranch dressing we had ordered. So that took another minute to grab. So the service from that perspective wasn’t great. As for our food, the pizzas were average at best. The crust of the pizzas was kind of rubbery. Possibly a result of having been ready for a while. Toppings were fresh but just okay. The Brazilian Bites weren’t good at all. The store does have a small seating area but it appeared to be lightly used if at all. Not sure why this place is rated as high as it is, but my experience reflects a middle of the road rating.

They have a gluten free thin crust! Ordered the half-and-half – Hawaiian and pesto burrata pizza. It was just the right crispiness.

I’ve had Sampa’s Pizza for dine-in (slices), takeout, and delivery. They are consistent with their pizza quality.

My favorite is the Margherita, but I’ve also had their mushroom pie and plain cheese. I recommend if you want a robust and flavorful pizza in the Marina.

We pride ourselves on being pizza connoisseurs. This pizza was outstanding. The crust is thin and delicious. The toppings were fresh and delicious. The whole pizza was flavorful. We had it delivered and it arrived on time with a smile.

Pizza was fine. Gave my pie to someone else by accident. No biggie, had to wait for the remake. Mistakes happen. Issue is with the checkout. I should’ve been more aware since it’s the era of EVERYONE asking for tips but I wasn’t. Checkout is defaulted to 20% tip so if you just hit confirm congrats. You just have someone 20% more for zero service and just making your pizza. Disingenuous at best. Malicious most likely. Won’t come back here again.

A charming spot to relax outdoors! Nina provided exceptional hospitality—she was truly delightful. As a frequent traveler, I value warm and genuine interactions over luxury, and this place exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely return the next time I’m in California! Baiyina

Came in bout 25 minutes before closing to get me a quick bite before getting back on the road.

I ordered a Greek Salad and an Acai Bowl.

The Salad was good!

The Acai Bowl was missing the oats and honey on top.

The servers you could tell where just wanting to close up shop.

I would not call it a welcoming entrance as I did not get a hello or even acknowledgement when entering.

It took me asking for them to take my order for acknowledgement I was hungry and this was the only place that was in budget and healthy on my way out of this part of LA area.

Overall it was a clean and organized establishment however the service was a bit lacking as well as missing toppings in the Acai bowl.

I will also let this be known that they order there cakes and put them back in the original boxes, so if you are looking for fresh cakes and pastries this is NOT the place to go as nothing here is made it was all being put into Cake boxes that had barcodes on them.

Cozy cafe with all the coffee drinks along with a variety of Italian pizza/pasta choices. Had a slice of cheese pizza and it was very good. Had a different flavor of crust & it was tasty. Also has Brazilian styles of pizza too. Once downside is it’s pricey. The small slice I had was 3.50. overall still decent pizza. Will try the coffee options next time. Service was also very good.
