Normally pretty good sushi but do not, I repeat do not, come here on busy events like Valentine’s Day. We had to wait 1.5 hour for our standard menu boat and only got it after we complained. During the time we spent here, lots of people stood up and left because they hadn’t even gotten the menu. If you cannot handle that many reservations as a restaurant, just don’t bother. Sushi was all right.

I usually love going to this place; it used to be my go-to spot in Leuven, the sushi shop. However, the last four times I visited, the experience was really disappointing. When I say disappointing, I mean the service was just bad. I went with my mom to get some sushi, which we were really looking forward to, but it turned out to be a frustrating experience.
We wanted takeaway, but on one occasion, the staff bluntly aske us if we didn’t like the food. I know I do enjoy it, but I was just very full that day. It felt like they assumed I didn’t like the food because I wasn’t ordering much. After multiple times explaining i was just full they gave me a box to put the sushi in myself instead of them preparing the box for us.
I wanted to give them one more chance, but honestly, I think I’ll just go to another place. When I went there recently, I had to wait a long time just to get the menu. I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore if you’re looking for good service. The quality of the service doesn’t match the food, and it’s just not worth the visit anymore.

The best sushi in Leuven. Simply delicious. Avocado is always fresh and they give you big chunks. Tempura rolls are amazing. Staff is always super nice. Best Sushi in Leuven in my personal opinion.

When we entered we weren’t seated but just pointed towards the room in the back. We weren’t asked for our reservation, which should have been the first red flag. After we found a spot we were not handed menus. We looked up the menu online after 30 minutes, and started waving down every waiter that walked past but were ignored for another 30 minutes. After people who just arrived got handed a menu we stood up and left. The waitress didn’t even apologise but just urged us to stay. The only upside of our visit was bonding with the other customers.

I LOvE this place. had the best sushi experience ever here. I am initially not a fish lover at all. But I jave no idea how I have eaten sushi and raw salmon here. The food is so delicious and would love to come back again. They have boats for 2 and 4 people with different types of sushi and all of them are tastey. For a starter we had the flamed shrimps sushi and it was absolutely amazing. Drinks are fine as well. It’s a bit pricy but worth every penny. Ah, there is no wifi out there what passed me off. My internet was down so asked for the WiFi ti connect, but they didn’t give a heck!

I know this is a sushi shop but the other dishes shouldn’t be neglected, I ordered the teriyaki chicken with noodles. I swear the dish is boiled chicken, in slightly diluted teriyaki sauce and some pan tossed onions, nothing else…. Was very disappointed with the food. Not worth 20+ euros. The salmon was a bit grilled in pan but it lacked seasoning and had the same teriyaki sauce all over it.

We visited this place today based on the recommendations of many. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food arrived 45 minutes later, the sushi is full of rice (hence, the ratio price quality is not worth it)

The best sushi in my life. Honestly, I was suprised by the taste. The sushi rolls are ralely something I enjoy, but here it was the best of the best. The porsion size is definitely worth the money and we didn’t wait for long as well. Simply 10/10 and i wish i could give 6 stars, because they are deserved. Reccomend to everyone!
EDIT: I was here again in 2024 and the restaurant is still amazing as before!

The food is very fresh and tasty, flavors are very well balanced and the portion are very generous, the serving is fast . When we arrived we received steriyaki sauce from the samourai . It is really on of the best sushi i ate ! Keep it up everyone
