Good buffet, tandoori chicken is fantastic as is the fresh naan bread. Chana masala is wonderful too. Chai tea is included with the buffet as is some salads and desserts. It’s nice to have an Indian food option in Grand Forks. Atmosphere could use work, but that’s not why I go here. If you’re after a fancy restaurant, you will have to look elsewhere what they offer is honest and genuine Indian flavours without being pretentious.

I was excited to hear that there’s a new Indian restaurant here in our small town and was keen to support it. Really hoping I’d like it, but I was disappointed instead. Wasn’t impressed soon I stepped in. I wouldn’t say it is not tidy, but it wasn’t inviting. The buffet section wasn’t pleasing to look at. And with regards to the food, maybe we came an hour before closing, it was a tad warm and some meat were even tough. I hope they improve their food and presentation.

My brother ordered their Pizza he asked for extra cheese and sauce, couldnt believe how amazingly delishious that pizza was!!! Generous toppings! I had the Naan bread stuffed with chicken and onion it was really good….Try this place its soooo good!!…but the Pizza though is definitely not a disappointment! Took a pic of the pizza

In a country like canada where customer service is a must-have skill to run a business like a restaurant. Store owner should learn something from their nice employees. If a customer is asking a question about your food. You owe me an answer in a nice and politely manner. Atleast Atleast be respectful to your own community. Don’t ruin the image as an Indian or may be you belong to khalistan

Amazing food! The pakora is amazing and worth a visit all by itself. The Gulab jamun is also a highlight, and I recommend getting some of those and mixing them with some of their delicious kheer for dessert.

Service was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing I’d recommend would be to remove those grocery store overhead fluorescent tubes and putting in something a little more comfortable on the ol’ peepers.

Can definitely recommend, this place is great.

Ordered takeout and it was ready in 20 minutes. Moved from Abbotsford and have eaten at a lot of different Indian food places there. This is comparable in price and portion size. Food tasted good and was also comparable. Dish even came with rice which is not always the case in the lower mainland. Would order again!

Entering this establishment is a uniquely interesting experience. It’s cold, the seating isn’t the most comfortable, & the acoustics are a sensory overload. Maybe in time as they settle into their space it will improve.
The service, or lack there of is nearly non existent. Nobody seems to know their role or how to create a dining experience.
Cleaning the tables with household Vim is a practice I’ve never saw in a restaurant before and would explain why the water tastes like chemicals, as the cups are placed upside down on the table to absorb the Vim cleaner odor.
The curry & butter chicken is very good however, the foods temperature didnt seem hot enough. Naan & samosas were not good at all.

I’ve eaten alot of Indian food over the years and frequently order take out from a popular Indian restaurant in Kelowna anytime I’m in Kelowna and I am always impressed with the flavours and portions as it’s enough to share and for leftovers. Honestly the portion sizes at samosa gardens is a ridiculous joke and rip off, I can’t believe the prices they are charging for the portion size, it’s not even enough for share / left overs and the food is underwhelming at best. 5 pieces of paneer and 5 pieces of butter chicken in my take out order is criminal. Please do better instead of ripping people off, you will attract better business.

Stopped here for lunch on our way through Grand Forks. Great food, samosas were so good we had to buy a bag to bring home with us, good service and prices. Will stop again next time we drive through.

We really enjoyed our veggie korma and matar paneer for takeout! Came with rice and was enough for two people. Friendly staff and a lunch buffet available. They opened 15 days ago, can’t wait to try more!
