We had dinner at Sammy’s last night and it was absolutely spectacular.
From the very first bite, everything felt indulgent and thoughtfully prepared. The appetizers were incredible, and I started with the most delectable baked artichokes — perfectly tender and full of flavor. The warm bread, crisp salad, and Penne alla Vodka were pure perfection — rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced. And the spumoni truffle? A decadent, unforgettable finish.
The Chardonnay was smooth, buttery and delicious, complementing every course.
What truly elevated the evening was the service. Our server, Peter, along with a trainee named Sean, appeared at exactly the right moments — attentive without ever hovering. They anticipated our needs so naturally that the entire experience felt seamless and special.

We recently came here for dinner and had a really good experience. We were able to be seated right away. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. They have a great selection of food to choose from. Both of our meals were really good. The prices are good and the portions were generous. The restaurant has a full bar. There’s a dining room as well as the bar side which has a few booths, tables and bar seating. There’s some outdoor seating in both the front and back of the restaurant. It’s easy to get to from the nearby towns and it’s not too far from I-95. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend.

I’m a stickler for spaghetti and meatballs so for me to say this is one of the best restaurant prepared that I’ve ever had should mean something. At first I was put off by the amount of sauce on the pasta but by the end I was mopping it up with the table bread. The meatballs were indeed house made, although you can tell they were not seared and seemingly either (perfectly) baked in the oven or fully cooked within the sauce. Speaking of which, it was a thick, hearty very tomato heavy flavor and I absolutely loved it.
Table bread was also clearly freshly made. Paired better with the olive oil on the table than it did with the butter packets.
Wife got baked stuffed shrimp and said it was good.
Downsides? Every time the front door opened a very cold draft would come through. The biggest mark against the place is my default minus one star for only Pepsi products. So close to perfect for me haha.

We love coming to Sammys!
We had family in from out of state for the New Years and we wanted to go out to eat, and of course we said Sammys. We have never had a bad meal. The staff are always so over the top accommodating, the food super tasty, the drinks yummy. We dont have a bad thing to say.
The family from out of town, who are also in the food industry and own a restaurant were very pleased.
Thank you for another amazing meal and evening! Even the kids enjoyed everything and sometimes they are the hardest critics.

Tonight was our third visit to Sammy’s and each time has been fantastic! Each visit has been with different people joining us and all had different entrees. No one was disappointed! The food is made with fresh ingredients by an excellent chef and is delicious! The portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable. The cocktails were also great. Our server, Michael, was friendly and attentive with a fun personality! It’s so nice to have an excellent restaurant locally. I love that they take reservations, something that is hard to find these days!

What a gem! I was looking for a local place with a varied menu to entertain out of town family. Literally stumbled upon Sammy’s and decided to give it a try. All I can say is WOW! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is very well prepared, visually appealing and most importantly, delicious! However, the best part of our evening was the staff! We were seated right away, treated like old friends (even though we were first timers!) and we never felt rushed. The owner, Sammy, came over to chat which sealed the deal for me! Please do yourself a favor and head to Sammy’s, you will not be disappointed!

Can’t say enough good things about our dinner tonight. One note if you are looking for a quiet romantic spot, It was a bit loud as we were seated between two different loud guests. Aside from that, our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. Toffee bread pudding dessert was delicious! Highly recommend.

We’ve been about 6x. Great food! Bar area and Bartenders always pleasant. We love to belly up at the bar but the times we’ve been with larger parties over 8 we get seated in the back room, it’s private and a great room BUT THEY CONSTANTLY PUT 2 ROUND TABLES TOGETHER!!! You can’t do that. This has happened 3x. It’s not a comfortable seating for large parties!!! Invest in ONE LARGE ROUND TABLE TO FIT IN THAT ROOM OR GET A LONG RECTANGLE TABLE!!!!!!!! Come on! Not hard to do. It’s a major turn off.
