I used to Uber and learned of this place taking a few couples out and they said the food and drinks are delicious and the price is reasonable. I order from them take out and dine in occasionally in the bar. Great drink and food specials. Very tasty. Great place to sit down and watch sports. Very much like a restaurant bar that you’d find in the Northern Woods of Wisconsin. Very much like Cheers; where everybody knows your name!

Been driving past Sammy’s Pub & Grill for a while and today decided to try it!
I ordered a large pizza half cheese and half veggie for pickup – the customer service was friendly and efficient.
The grille is half pizza place and half bar – nice ambiance!
Pizza was fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend this place to all in Lisle.

Excellent food! We had the fries which are home cut and delicious! An egg and pepper sandwich and the hot dog special! Delicious! Fabulous bartender! Everyone is so friendly! What a hidden gem!! We will be bad! Thanks lisle for a great lunch!

Our group started to play trivia at Sammy’s every Wednesday night after our usual place suddenly raised its menu prices by as much as 50%! We were happy to move to Sammy’s where the prices are reasonable, the food is good, and the service is friendly.

I was there with a friend on Saturday. We had a taste for a beef sandwich, so i ordered the WOW beef for us to share. I was disappointed. First it took forever for the sandwich to come. I think the cook must have left it in the over too long in order to melt the cheese. When it was finally delivered, it was semi warm and the cheese was brown. The cheese looked like a piece of beef instead of bubbly melted mozzerella. The juice on the beef was extremely salty and the french fries were over salted as well. Too bad. I used to love coming here, but probably won”t be back. I wish i had taken a picture to post here ..
