This is a great small town bar in an amazing little village. Just mins from Alpine Valley Ski hill and outdoor Amphitheater you can’t go wrong dropping in here for a drink. Great outdoor patio for summer right on the historic Village Square. Great selection of drinks and rotating taps of local breweries. You can’t go wrong with Sammy’s Place.

Been here a couple of times the service is not great. On this occasion it was the worst very rude lady behind the register was over charged then Proceeded to charge me For other things to make up for the money they had to take off. Charged me 1.00 to get mushrooms instead of tomatoes and peppers which is a reasonable swap. My daughters fruit pancake was floating in strawberry like sauce and no whip cream after she asked if she wanted it. Also did not get my sour cream and salsa after she said yes it come with it I had to ask for it or she would have never brought it. I witnessed a waitress try taking someone’s plate before they were done. When when all is said and done I was told to never come back because I don’t just pay my bill and shut up and leave . Will never go back or recommend to anyone stay away or you will be the next victim.

Staff is unfriendly and avoids you if you aren’t a regular. 1st bartender reluctantly got our 1st drinks and spent the rest of the time avoiding us while she chatted up and got drinks for the rest of the bar. When we finally got asked from the other bartender if we needed another drink, he walked away in the 3 seconds I was asking my husband if we were staying for another. He literally walked away before I could even respond to his question…it was so weird!
