Awesome place to visit! We were very happy with our stop in before the drive home.
The service was wonderful! Very attentive, good suggestions, and pleasant.
The pizza was delicious! They have some fun pizza choices, we got the Mac&cheese pizza and classic pepperoni. Both were good. The kids loved the Mac&Cheese pizza! We also got the bone in wings, also very good.
Definitely recommend going here if you are in the area!

Years ago Sammy’s was awesome and the buffett was always worth the money. Now however you get 4 half ate been on the buffett for Lord knows how long of the weirdest who even eats that stuff pizza. And the salad bar is smaller than anything I’ve ever seen. Absolutely not worth wasting your time and for sure not worth the money. It’s sad when Kwik Trip has better fresh baked ready in 12 minute pizza!

Absolutely best pizza I’ve had in my life. I ate a whole one by myself. I live way out in western Minnesota and everyday that goes by that I don’t have Sammy’s pizza I feel more and more sad. Absolutely recommend. Plus, it was relatively cheap and it was fast service too.

Been going to West Duluth Sammy’s for the last 50 year and have always bragged to all my family and friends that West Duluth is hands down the best pizza and service by far. Well not anymore! 1 1/2 hour wait for three pizza. Walked over and watched what was going on in the kitchen and it was a total breakdown and failure.
Nine people in the kitchen walking into each other in the tight space, no leadership and very confused on what was going on. All our food came out at different times. Our server only check on our table once in the 2 1/2 hours we were there.
Servers excuse was we have so many take outs and deliveries. One would think you would manage your in house customers first.
If this was my first visit I would never come back!

Big group for a birthday, went for the buffet and gave them a call to let them prepare. It was a group of 20 and we understand it’s a lot. My gripe is keep the pizza filled so people aren’t waiting and give the waitress a little help just for drinks even.

Went in for the lunch buffet. It was very mediocre. At one point they only had 3 cheese pizzas on the buffet and no chicken wings. Salad bar was disappointing. Staff did not interact with customers very much. The food tasted decent. I would order the pizza again but will definitely not partake in the lackluster buffet.

They gave us a set of dirty silverware, then replaced it with another set of dirty silverware. When our personal plates came out, two of them were dirty. It seemed like they had overloaded the dishwasher, but it threw my family’s vibe off for the dinner. A manager should have come out and said something but they didn’t.
The pizza was good, bottom could have been a little crispier but I liked it. My brother tells me the spaghetti wasn’t very good. The salads also seemed a little disappointing, def stick to the pizza if you go.

We are from out of town and wanted a small pizza and salads. I’m so glad we picked Sammy’s Pizza. The pizza we got was Nick’s special, and we loved it. The crust was delicious. Our server Emma was very sweet, and the service was amazing.

the buffet had 3 or 4 pizzas and grilled and fried plain wings. 2 different soups and 1 tray of pasta(it was never re filled) The hot food wasn’t hot nor did it seem vary fresh. They also offered a small salad buffet (vary small) the plates where wet and the lettuce looked okay but not great. oh and the price is 16.95 and you get a shitty cold cookie at the end
