Brick oven pizza was great! Not skimpy with the toppings and plenty of cheese, with a light mild sauce.
Salads were very good.
Spaghetti sauce was a little bit on the bland side, but the light spice in the meatballs and lots of spice in the sausage made up for it.
Prices are very reasonable.
Will definitely be back again.

This is the better choice for pizza in Cloquet.
Grabbed a sausage & onion, double dough for dinner. Sufficient to feed me 2 nights and both times I ate it, I enjoyed my dinner.
Sausage is hand-formed. Sauce is a little robust but not enough to overpower the pie. Cheese melts nicely and gives a good pull when fresh and hot. Onions were diced and largely faded into the background but that’s not a positive for me.
Better than the other place in town that I tried, by a fairly large margin.

Excellent pizza, fresh subs, & pasta. The pizza crust was great and crispy. They used fresh ingredients and everything tasted home made. Service was fast & friendly. We would definitely recommend this place! The only thing this establishment could improve upon would be a thorough dusting/deep clean, especially the restrooms.

Such a gem of a place. Coming back from birding at Sax-Zim at 1330 and we hadn’t eaten anything all day. The wings were really perfect, the broasted chicken special was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and CHEAP AS HECK. Meatball sub was very good and they had a great selection of local beer on tap. Service was wonderful and the place was quiet and fast at lunch. Great all around place.

I had the lunch special a few days ago and ended up with a severe stomachache and diarrhea. When I called the restaurant to ask if they could provide any compensation, they refused and explained that they would only take action if other customers were to complain about a similar thing happening to them.
Food:
The special is advertised as a single-serve pizza with four wings and a salad.
I received a pizza the size of a kids meal, and four wings with barely any meat. For the price of $14.55, the amount was nowhere near worth it, and really was not enough food for an adult to fill full and nourished.
I honestly felt insulted when the waiter brought me my pizza and I saw how small it was. If anything, they should just make the salad smaller, and rename the “lunch special” as the “kid’s meal special” for $1 less.
The taste of the pizza itself was very below average; the texture of the cheese, Italian sausage, and pepperoni that I ordered as toppers were all strange and tasted either artificial or processed. On top of that, when making the pizza, they strangely placed the pepperoni beneath the cheese and Italian sausage, which made it appear like the pepperoni was not added to the pizza and was intentionally hidden from sight.
The wings were mainly dry, small, and were nothing to brag about in terms of taste.
Perhaps a combination of the below average quality of the food alongside the miniscule portion is what contributed to my stomach pain and sickness later during the day.

Found this place via Google maps & stopped during a road trip. We’re glad we did! The dough & sauce on the pizza were legit. The calzone had the right proportion of crust to filling. And the French dip sub was generously sized & delicious! We’ll stop again the next time we’re in the area.

Who knew Cloquet had some of the best pizza around–not me. But this place rocked! We stopped on the way back to the Twin Cities from Grand Marais. I didn’t have the greatest expectations for pizza in Cloquet, but the reviews were good, and we really wanted pizza. We ended up getting two twelve inch and two ten-inch pizzas, which was way too much for four of us. All the pizzas were great, except perhaps the pesto pizza which didn’t have enough interest for my taste. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us regularly while we waited. It did seem to take a while, but I think there were a lot of take-out orders while we were there.

We went in today which was our first mistake. They only had one waitress on and she wasn’t very pleasant. None of the tables had been cleaned off and when someone came out to do it she was rude to him and kicked the bucket he put down for her dirty dishes under her counter because she wouldn’t move out of the way for him to get them. We sat there for 20 mins with a dirty table and no acknowledgment that we were there until we got up to leave then we got a snotty comment from the waitress oh your leaving me when we walked out. I absolutely love their food but this experience was horrible. She shouldn’t have been the only waitress on and truly she shouldn’t be working there at all as this wasn’t our first bad experience with this waitress.
