We stopped in for drinks and an appetizer. I like their large beer a wine selection. It was busy, we were lucky to get seats at the bar. We ordered fried dill pickles. It’s a great shareable option. Our server Ciera was friendly and helpful. After my beer I got a double Sazerac rye on ice. I get the double because my wife likes to sip a bit of it. I appreciate the large selection of liquor. It’s too bad we live so far away. This is a very friendly place. There is a large free parking lot behind the building. We will be back.

We came for drinks but decided to get some fried pickle spears. They came out fast and crunchy. This place has a huge local beer selection 37 taps! Lot’s of choices on the menu. Great spirits selection. Friendly bartender (CIERA) was an awesome host. They have lots of TV’S for sports, but it didn’t seem overly loud in there, we could carry on a conversation without yelling. Nice booth spaces, tables and a bar with about 15 seats. There is street parking or large lot a block away for free. Nice walkable area. Love that they support local.

I tried the cheese steak sub and it turned out amazing, packed with flavor and cooked just right. I added a ranch pasta side, which was tasty as well. Everything I saw leaving the kitchen looked impressively generous, and my meal was no exception. A solid five star experience that I would gladly enjoy again.

Went with family and friends last night. Had the best waitress ever. Everything about this place was great. The portions are way bigger than I’m used to, but had some to bring home. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food: poppers, mozzarella sticks, fried mac and cheese; and our entrees: reuben excellent, chef salad, fish and chips, burger, tater tots and 1 order of apple pie a la mode was enough for all of us to share. Apple pie was so good, one in our party got an order to take home. We had a wonderful time but mostly it was due to our wonderful waitress. I wish I knew her name so I could mention her here.

My husband was brought a sample beer to try and literally never asked after that what he wanted from then on throughout the whole meal. Not even water. Nothing.
I was not offered vinegar with my (very dry) fish and chips, and since no one came to check to see how our meal was, I was never given an opportunity to ask. So I stood at the bar and waited 10 minutes for anyone to bother to notice that I was there to request it myself.
Another member of our party requested the burger without tomato, and they brought it with tomato.
Food was ok. Not terrible but not great. Not good enough to overcome the worst customer service in a restaurant I have experienced in a long time.
This place has overall good reviews, so maybe somebody was having an off day. But I have no interest in coming back a second time to find out. There are too many much better options out there, both for food and for service.
Also the music was loud enough to make conversation difficult. I expect that more at the bar area in the evening. But not at a table by the window at lunch time

Our group of 7 had a great experience tonight! All our food came out at the same time so no one had to hesitate to eat. Love the variety of drink options and casual atmosphere. Love the Tetris tots and creamy Mac n cheese

Sammy’s for St Patrick’s day. Great service and atmosphere. Food is very good but can’t say the best. That said we will be back bc it’s a great place and love the vibe and people. It’s representative of what Belmont is and why people love it there. You should go as soon as possible.

Fantastic meal!! Lovely server who was so kind and helpful in helping us pick the best choice from the menu. She even went inquiring about a weird cocktail my mum had asked about. Overall the meal was so tasty and I really appreciated the Covid precautions being taken by everyone inside. I will be returning the next time I’m in the area without a doubt!!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I was in between showings and found myself looking for a locally owned restaurant. It’s a cozy little establishment. The food was excellent. Service staff was friendly and good at their job. They were quick as well. My appetizer was mozzarella cheese sticks with marinara sauce. My main course was the French dip with tator tots. I definitely have to go back just to try some more items on the menu!

They have two tiny little metal tables out front, which is where we sat since we had our dog with us after a hike nearby. I don’t feel like it’s normal for many people to sit out there since service was kind of slow. Did appreciate that they had the tables though. Food was pretty decent.
