When I’m working up in Chicago, I make the jaunt to Elgin just to dine here. The DIABLO BURRITO is the star of the menu, and they changed something up since I was last here 3 years ago because this was the hottest thing I have ever eaten in my life. Every bite was full of flavor and you weren’t overtaken with the peppers. It’s a delicious but spicy item and I look forward to having it again when I come back next month. Finish it up with a shot of Don Julio blanc with a lime and you’re set. Best burrito in the country. Thanks for making perfect, even better. 10/10

Absolutely the best Tacos de Lomo (thin Ribeye) plate. I haven’t found a place that cooks this steak better.
5 stars across the board for consistent excellent service at the bar.
Very quick and they don’t charge you for chips and salsa while waitimg for your plate to be served. The music is nice and there’s always sports on their TVs.

Similar to no manches nice decorations the Baja tacos were fire! The fish in it is not small portions either these were kind of jumbo size! Will def go back soon! Lunch was less than $40 for the 2 of us.

The food was decent, but the staff stood out very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Chimichanga Dinner, which was a fried burrito and tasted good. The Chile Relleno and shrimp tacos were also good. Food presentation was impressive and felt a step above the usual. The Micheladas were flavorful, and the price-to-portion ratio was fair. The ambiance was pleasant, though the restaurant is a bit small in terms of space. Overall, a good experience.

Love the food here. Have also had them cater a few parties at home. Had a bad experience recently tho. Went in last Thursday around 1 pm. 1 person at the bar eating. Otherwise ony three booths occupied. Two booths served by a gentleman waiter. Our booth served by a waitress. The waiter was vigilant checking his table at least every 5 minutes. Our server took our appetizer and drink order. She brought out our El Primo dip. Forgot the tortilla chips. She says she’ll be right back. Disappeared for 10 minutes. We are her only table. Dip is getting cold so I asked the waiter serving the other booths for chips. She finally shows up. We ask for refills on our ice teas. She goes into the kitchen. 5 minutes later comes out and sits at a table next to the kitchen door and starts texting on her phone. I speak up “excuse me miss” and raise my empty glass. She shows up 5 minutes later with two ice teas. A reminder…WE ARE HER ONLY TABLE. I will avoid her area next time we visit.

Our new favorite restaurant. Food is always great, flavors well balanced, ingredients fresh, and yes, I can even bring my Mexican friends here and they think it’s great too. The wait staff is super nice, particularly Millie and Wendy, but honestly all the staff seems very light and happy to be here. Prices are reasonable, and the bar is very impressive. They can even deal with dietary avoidances like gluten-free and dairy free. Tis a happy place. my favorite dish: Lomo tacos.

Being on the road we never know what we will get food wise.
This was an unexpected fantastic find. Huge fajitas, enough for 2. Dessert was fried ice cream and again enough for two.
We were seated immediately and our server was at our table quickly. After we ordered the food was there promptly.
