Sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon/evening. Service was fine. Ordered a Cadillac margarita and the savory chicken bowl. I’ve had better margaritas, but the bowl was fantastic! Loads of chicken. Great broth. Very flavorful dish. Only wish I had room in my stomach to try the chivito club. Oh well!

Sammy’s Bistro has become our favorite Park City restaurant. We’ve tried several menu items and found you pretty much can’t go wrong. The steak frites is outstanding! The southwestern chicken salad was more amazing than I imagined, and huge! Today we tried 5 different entrees and the quality, flavor, portion size, and price were great. We all walked away full and happy. The outdoor dining was lovely also.

I enjoyed the food, tomato soup, The chicken bowl, and garlic cheese bread. All were prepared gluten free. I gave 4 stars for high prices. I understand meat dishes costing more, but $7 for 2 slices of bread seemed pretty steep. I was wanting to try the steak frites, but it was $39!

Came to Sammy’s once I got into town. The restaurant was completely full, but we still received fast service. The appetizers and drinks were delicious The sandwich wasn’t as impressive. Our server was very friendly and informative. Nice ambience and place to eat with the family while watching the games on TV.

The setting is more like a café that has indoor and outdoor seating. Portions are big except the soup. Ingredients are fresh, and house-made potato chips are not oily nor salty.

Stopped in on our way through town to grab some dinner and found this small sounding restaurant. Got the spaghetti and meatballs and some garlic bread. What an amazing flavor, the spaghetti, marinara and meatballs had. And some of the best garlic toast bread I’ve had in a while.
It’s a small little restaurant great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

A Park City resident let us in on this favorite local hangout.
Sammy’s is located in a shopping plaza off of Bonanza Drive. The outdoor seating is dog friendly (water bowls are provided for your pooch). Bar or table seating is available inside. The place was packed, but we were seated quickly because the afternoon lunch rush was wrapping up. My guess is that you should expect a wait at peak times.
The food was outstanding – fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, plated in an appealing manner. I ordered fish tacos, but they had run out of mahi mahi, so shrimp was subbed. It ended up being the best shrimp tacos I’ve had in a long time. Maybe a new item on the menu? Speaking of menu, it is extensive and offers something for everyone – lots of salads, sandwiches and entrees to choose from. There is also an extensive selection of adult beverages.
Servers were welcoming, engaged and on top of things. It appeared that they worked as a coordinated team.
We’re definitely going back!

Second Visit: Still excellent food…but extraordinarily poor service. After getting seated, the waiter spilled one of the waters all over the table and onto my son. They brought the wrong fries with our order and then said they would bring out the right kind only to not get them until I was more than half way through my entree.
Our water and soft drinks were never refilled. They frankly forgot about us once the food was out. Once we were finished and had waited 10-15 minutes with no sign of our server, we had to walk to the bar to ask for our server. Someone else came to the table a few minutes later and said they didn’t know where our server went (like she disappeared after bringing us our food and never came back.).
So he ended up bringing out our check. The proper thing to do would have been to offer up one of the entrees as free, or the drink, or offer a free dessert, but nothing. Just a check and an expectation for a tip.
So disappointing for a place that really does have good food which the PC scene still desperately needs more of.
