We recently had a girls night out and went to Sammy’s Gay Bar, and I must say that my experience was highly disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a rude bartender who seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. Their lack of professionalism and customer service skills set a negative tone for the entire evening.

Hole in the wall dive bar. Nice vibes and cheap beer. Drinks are good and there’s pool and darts, never too busy but I’ve only been on Tues & Wednesday nights so far. Sweet lady sells plates of home cooked food as well and it’s delicious. Nice hangout I look forward to coming here after work with my friends

Shady drug dealing heavy narcotics, management at bare minimum turns a blind eye. The defintion of classless. Zero empathy. Theyve blondly stolen from me in various ways before. Events beyond reason occur every other weekend. Violent and ignorant in nature. Death theeats uttered and managment turns blind eye Management does not care and furthermore completely discriminated me on medical basis both for docimwnted autism, and documented health issues. They’re not worth my time, money or infliemce though and wishes they could be a fraction of the succeess and good will my familys restaruants have built. Terrible experience. The atmosphere was sketchy. I didn’t feel safe at this bar after seeing two fights within minutes of arriving. We didn’t finish our drinks and left asap.

Coming from ATL to Charlotte area is different and this bar is awesome. I felt like home; the atmosphere and staff were amazing (everyone that works there remind me of everyone at my favorite bar). Everyone were friendly, some were too friendly, overall had a great time meeting new people and socializing.
