Imagine my surprise when I drove past after my son’s soccer game and saw this little food truck. I saw the word “cocina” and new I had to stop and see what they had to offer. I chose the 1/2 portion pernil (tender, slow roasted pork shoulder) which comes with rice and sides (pintos and fried plantains). The chef filled the container heaping full and his customer service was impeccable. I went on my way, excited to dive in. Every bite was an explosion of flavors- excellent! Don’t miss this one!

I dove 20 minutes to dallas to get authentic spanish food. To my surprise, SAM did not disappoint. Everything was top notch. Flavors spot on. I ordered a bunch of different things.. I moved here from Florida.. the Cuban didn’t disappoint, simple yet the flavors spot on. (Most popular sandwich in Florida)I would have flattened it a bit better.. but the flavors were outstanding.. better than 90% in florida, bread is also fresh daily. This man dosent cut corners…amazing ..rice.. to die for.. plantains.. fresh. It is great to know people still have passion in this industry. I will be coming back for this amazing food. Thankyou so much for the great experience.

Saw the truck as it opened and was curious because of their location but WOWED by the food. Everything was fresh, warm, delicious and with great pricing! The owners are super polite and not stingy with portions. I’ve been back several times since my first visit and will continue to do so!
