(Lunch on 2025/03/06) Ordered a medium: half buffalo mac and half banh mi. Staff was nice & toppings were OK, but I wasn’t a super big fan of the pizza base. It tasted pretty bland and store bought.

Overpriced, pizza was not even cooked all the way. Crust and toppings were uncooked in the middle.

This place has the best wings in town, large breaded and perfectly fried. The mango habanero and buffalo are excellent, great pizza pies, reasonable beer selection and best happy hour prices on food and drink “everyday”! Get the tachoes for sure. I’m only in town in the summer and this is my go to for sure. Great chill vibe!
They deserve the business!

I’ve tried stopping by on 3 different occasions (between 11:30 and 12:40) but they are never ready to take orders. I have no idea if the food is good because I can never order without waiting 20+ min for them to be ready to TAKE my order. The place has at most 2-3 people ahead of me so it’s not like the employees are very busy. Im tired of wasting my lunch time just waiting.

Pizza here is a bit on the pricy side. It’s like 24 bucks for a 14 inch pizza. Beer is pricy as well. In terms of the pizza, it was good. The crust was crunchy and the leoparding was there. It’s right by the college so it has a college crowd to it (if you’re into that…) they seem to let my dog inside and outside which is always a nice bonus.
They also serve beer here. Asked for a pitcher and they had two of their taps go out. You win some you lose some.

Some pizza can be pretty heavy and oily, but I never felt that way towards the pizza here, especially the cheese. I’m not lactose intolerant, but cheese makes me feel sick sometimes just because I didn’t have it a lot when I was growing up. Whatever they are doing with the ingredients, they are doing it well lol. Affordable for students, will always be my go-to spot for pizza.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the tater tots were during Happy Hour! Great portion size for the price! Good to share with. Pesto chicken sandwich had a nice toasty bread bun, got a good amount of chicken and the side of fries were nice and crispy.

Sammy G’s is a phenomenal experience! My friends and I really enjoyed watching the Final 4 there in 2017 while enjoying the great selection of beer and delicious pizza (especially the Spicy Hawaiin). I encourage you to go enjoy great pizza and a cold one at Sammy G’s!

Scrolling through maps, I came across this delicious gem. I had the El Presidente pizza and WoW. You can really taste passion when someone enjoys their work. I complimented the chef.

TL;DR: good pizza, but a bit pricey.
I like the different flavors of pizza offered here, especially the mother clucker* (lulz for the clever naming). A 10″ pizza goes for $13 and 14″ ones go for $23. I would say the prices are decent, but only if shared (from a college student’s perspective). Besides pricing, I also think that the place is neat and nicely organized.
