Great little breakfast/lunch spot. Wife had the biscuits and gravy. Another person had the Denver omelette and I had the French dip sandwich. Everything was very good hot and the soup that came with the sandwich was very tasty. I recommend this as a stop in.

This place has a cozy atmosphere, the staff was super friendly we had like two staff members attending us it was a wonderful experience. The food was also very good I would really recommend coming here. 10/10

Very cozy and friendly. Good coffee. Resonaly priced. Plentiful portions. The only place I know to get a good Irish breakfast. So good. Hubby had the strip steak. Big piece of gristle and fat. But the rest of the steak was very tasty. I ordered over medium eggs…they were well done. Other then that….I enjoyed my breakfast. I also ordered the tomato pasta soup. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a tomato broth with anelli pasta…small rings. Delicious.
Over all I recommend Sammys.
Hubby and I were regulars at the old place. I can say we will be regulars at the new place also.

I read the reviews when I came in and y’all were lying. No wait, breakfast food took 30 minutes to come out. Just for the order to be wrong, and cold. My mom was already eating off the plate nd she took her plate and said she gave her the wrong order and brought back a different plate that was cold food as well. My pancakes and waffles were over cooked. But cold. I feel like my food was sitting in the window waiting. They were too busy doing Togo orders. We ordered hash browns. Everywhere else I order hash browns and it don’t come with onions this place gave me onions in my hash browns. There was a onion on my pancakes. We ordered cheese on our hash browns and they forgot to put it on and the lady grabbed our plates to bring them to the back and they threw a nice cold piece of cheese on the hash browns. I woulda have told her it was ok couldn’t hear me screaming it’s ok. Bacon wasn’t the way we wanted it cooked when ask for crispy bacon. Eggs were cold. Cold eggs are the worst food ever. Both our over medium and scrambled. Nice waitress took off my mother breakfast. So I tipped her 45%.
ALSO. With all this Covid, we went to wash our hands and the soap water. No bubbles nothing. Didn’t feel like my hands got clean

I used to really enjoy coming to this restaurant. The food was consistently tasty and it was one of my favorite breakfast spots. It’s been several months since I’ve been to Sammie’s and unfortunately, my most recent visit was a big disappointment. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with sausage, which used to be a favorite of mine, but this time it was bland, barely hot, and the sausage tasted off—almost like it had been reheated or wasn’t fresh. My sister got the Philly steak skillet and couldn’t even finish it because she said it lacked flavor. We both ended up boxing up most of our meals, which says a lot.
We spent $60 before tip, and honestly, it just wasn’t worth it. Something has definitely changed here,whether it’s the recipes, ingredients, or kitchen staff, I don’t know,but the quality and flavor that used to set this place apart just aren’t there anymore. I’m hoping this was just a bad day and not the new norm.
