I had my husband pick up our meals last night and he was telling how nice the Auntie was at this place. She was also super sweet over the phone when I placed the orders for myself and my kiddos. He noticed the place was extremely clean. Auntie made sure to show him every meal inside the boxes. The flavor was great, nice grill marks on our Kalbi short ribs and the side of teriyaki sauce was great . Will only order Hawaii from here!

We recently tried Sam’l Hawaiian BBQ and were really impressed. I had the teriyaki chicken plate and my wife had the chicken katsu—both came with rice and macaroni salad. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the portions were generous enough that we had leftovers to enjoy later.
The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the place itself felt clean and comfortable. A great new spot we’ll definitely be back to.

Stopped in after realizing that we had a choice when it came to Hawaiian BBQ in the area. Menu was easy to read and order from. The portions are very generous, and the food was very good. I especially liked the mac salad because it wasn’t overloaded with mayo. A little strong on the mustard for my wife, but that just meant more for me. No arguments about going back. Dining area was clean and well lit. Nice place.

My mom and I have been wanting to try this new spot since it opened in July! It’s tucked in that corner shopping center with T-Mobile and Panera, so it was super easy to find.
When you walk in, the first thing you notice is how clean everything is. The front counter and kitchen are right there, and a couple of large menu screens hang above with tons of choices, including combos and kid-friendly plates. To the left, there’s a fridge full of Hawaiian sodas, and a big dining room and self-serve soda machine are further back. They even have gender-neutral bathrooms, which is a nice touch!
We ordered the one-item plate with beef, and it was so yummy, but a little on the salty side. The rice was perfectly hot and sticky, and the mac salad was fresh and creamy, just like it is in Hawaii! We also got the two-item plate with chicken katsu and beef. The katsu was super crispy and tasted really fresh. My only wish is that the katsu portion was a little bigger—it felt like maybe half the size of what you’d get at L&L.
Overall, it was a great experience, and we can’t wait to go back and try something else!

By far the best Hawaiian BBQ we’ve ever had, I highly recommend the kalua pork & katsu chicken. The macaroni salad is also off the chain. I love the finely shredded cabbage that is crispy crunchy & the veggies are not overcooked. Juicy kalua pork seasoned to perfection, out of this world good food!!! Crispy katsu chicken too, everything tasted fresh!!! Quick, polite & friendly service too!

First time eating at this Hawaiian bbq restaurant. The ribs and meats were delicious! Rice was cooked perfectly and the macaroni was just like in Hawaii. The fried shrimp was very greasy and not very good though. I recommend the Katsu chicken and the bbq ribs!!

Awesome place! Very nice people there, nice and clean restaurant. We ordered teriyaki chicken, katsu chicken, bbq beef and the shrimp. All of it was super tasty! Hot and freshly cooked! Huge portions too, so we were stuffed. Will definitely eat here again.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch, and we were welcomed by a friendly lady at the front who greeted us with a smile. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. They played relaxing music and had TVs, so you could watch something while waiting. The food was phenomenal; everything was delicious. Both my husband and I ordered Hawaiian BBQ, and it exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for delicious food and friendly customer service, don’t hesitate to try this place. I never was a huge fan of Hawaiian BBQ until I discovered this place. Now we eat here like once a week, the food is delicious and always cooked perfectly. I’m super picky, I can’t stand chewy, fatty, low-quality meat but with these guys you never have that problem. The chicken and everything is delicious, the rice, macaroni salad and the sides are all delicious too. The owners who run it are also very friendly. It’s one of our favorite places to eat now. Highly recommend!
