Tried the new menu at Sambath’s! Everything was made fresh and to your spice preference ! Ordered the Nom Banh Chok and Kuy Teav Cha. Both were amazing! Sambath’s is a must try!

First time here and I’m already hooked! I stopped in on my lunch break for Shrimp Pad See Ew and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked noodles, fresh shrimp, and rich flavor in every bite. To top it off, the owner surprised me with free donuts which were fluffy, warm, and drizzled with just the right amount of sweetness.
The food is amazing, the service is genuinely kind, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Definitely my new go-to spot!

I decided to try this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The owners were extremely nice and the pastries and food were delicious. I tried the Tom Yum soup which contained shrimp and mushrooms. Ii was extremely flavorful, spicy and savory with hints of basil and lemon grass.
The pastry was also fresh and delightful. I will definitely be back!

My first time here, and she made my food exactly as I love it, Thai hot. And the food was very tasty. The Curry dish is very well balanced! The best I have had in Louisiana! I loved how Sam brought a taste out to make sure it was where I wanted it for spiciness. The donuts for dessert are a great cap, and I didn’t have to go someplace else for them! I will DEFINITELY return for my Thai and sweet tooth.

Wonderful Khmer/Cambodian food and donuts served with genuine kindness. We had fried rice (large portion, delicious subtle flavors with bean sprouts and cilantro, fragrant and flavorful, not greasy) and an outrageously good spicy coconut soup with shrimp and crispy noodles that brought back fond memories of my time in Cambodia and Myanmar. Ingredients are farm fresh. And the donuts are great too. What a treat!

Absolutely amazing food! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can truly taste the care that goes into each dish. The woman who runs the place cooks everything herself, and she is incredibly kind and welcoming — it really adds to the experience. This is one of those hidden gems you’re so glad you found. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

We stopped in for lunch; incredible experience. The owner was kind and attentive, she even gave us some donut holes to go with our meal! We got the shrimp pad see ew medium spicy, while it was spicier than most pad see ew the flavor was amazing (so much cilantro!) and the portion was very generous. The amok fish was the star, so rich and deeply spiced without being too hot. In this case “& more” means so, so much more—definitely the best Thai food we’ve tried in Baton Rouge.

THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM!!!!
The food is absolutely delicious. You can never go wrong with ordering anything from their Thai/Khemer menu. Their are pretty good too.
BE WARNED: THEY DON’T PLAY WITH CHILIS. If you ask for spicy food, you’re getting REAL spicy food.

Sweetest owner ever. She really cares about her customers, and her food is delicious. Some of the softest and best donuts I’ve had. The curry and pad Thai were also yummy. Overall, highly recommend this place.
