Had a wonderful experience at this South Indian café. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. The dosa was perfectly crispy, the sambhar was rich and comforting, and the chutneys were well-balanced and tasty.
The ambience was calm and pleasant, making it a great place to sit and enjoy a peaceful meal. The staff was polite, attentive, and quick with service, which made the experience even better.
Overall, this place truly captures the essence of South Indian cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic food and a good café vibe. Will definitely visit again!

If you’re looking for a solid South Indian fix in a relaxed setting, Sambhar Cafe is definitely worth a visit. It leans more toward a high-quality “fast food joint” rather than a formal fine-dining experience, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch or a quick evening craving.

The atmosphere here is very laid-back. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, providing a nice variety depending on your mood. However, a word of caution regarding the patio: while the outdoor setup is charming, I noticed a persistent bad odor in specific sections of the outside area. If you’re sensitive to that, I’d highly recommend grabbing a table indoors or choosing your outdoor spot very carefully.

The Food
This is where the cafe really shines.

* The Stars: The Dosas are excellent—crispy, well-seasoned, and paired with a coconut chutney that is fresh and flavorful. I also have to give a special shout-out to the Panakkam; it was refreshing and authentic, a perfect accompaniment to the meal.

* The Letdown: Unfortunately, the Vadas didn’t quite hit the mark for me. After being so impressed by the Dosas and the drink, the Vadas felt a bit underwhelming and didn’t live up to the high expectations set by the rest of the menu.

Overall, it’s a great neighborhood gem for authentic South Indian flavors. It’s unpretentious and the service is quick. Just keep an eye on where you sit, and maybe double up on the Dosas instead of the Vadas!

I was just passing by the road when I saw the name Sambhar Cafe, and since I was hungry, I decided to stop without any plan. I’m so glad I did! The place surprised me with its beautiful open garden seating surrounded by plants and small artificial ponds with real fish. It felt really peaceful.

They have a self-service system for both ordering and collecting food. The menu focuses on authentic South Indian dishes, and everything we tried tasted great. We ordered Onion Uttapam, Mysore Masala Dosa, and Podi Rava Dosa all were crispy with delicious fillings.

The real highlight for me was their three chutneys, especially the green mint one absolutely amazing! I also tried their Panagam drink, which was refreshing for the hot weather (though a bit on the sweeter side).

Overall, it was a lovely and worth-it experience — perfect place to enjoy tasty South Indian food in a calm, garden-like setting.

A delightful spot for authentic South Indian cuisine right in Ghuma! The food here is consistently delicious — from crispy dosas and soft idlis to flavorful sambhar and chutneys, everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. The open, relaxed ambiance with garden-like seating makes it a perfect place for breakfast or a casual meal with friends and family. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the overall vibe is cozy and inviting. Filter coffee here is a must-try! Absolutely recommended for anyone craving real South Indian flavors.

I visited SAMBAR Cafe for breakfast and the experience was absolutely amazing. I tried their Breakfast Combo (mini masala dosa, idli, vada, and filter coffee) along with a Podi Plain Dosa in Ghee – everything was fresh, flavorful, and authentic.

What stood out even more was the vibe – calm, peaceful, and away from the city chaos. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a relaxing morning drive followed by a hearty South Indian breakfast outside the concrete jungle.

Definitely a must-visit place for food lovers and peace seekers alike, and I’ll definitely be visiting again!

Useless place. Its just running on hype. The wait time can be 1 hour, it’s a self service, don’t know why I came here and wasted by Sunday. They are unable to manage the crowd and till the time, the food comes, it is cold and not worth.
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!!
