Samba Brazilian Kitchen is an absolute delight! The pão de queijo is perfectly cheesy, soft, and warm — easily some of the best I’ve had. The shrimp moqueca is rich and flavorful, and the ground beef pastel is crispy and packed with delicious filling. I also love that they serve Guaraná, which is one of my favorite drinks. The atmosphere is fantastic, with great music and a lively yet relaxed vibe that makes the whole experience even better. The service is friendly and attentive, and the location in Haile Plantation is perfect, making it a convenient and charming spot to enjoy authentic Brazilian food. This is easily one of my top five favorite restaurants in Gainesville, and a must-visit for anyone craving vibrant flavors and a fun dining experience!

Food was authentic and flavorful. We really needed drink refills before we finished the meal but the server was preoccupied. Overall the atmosphere was just ok, probably offseason bc inside was empty and quiet.

Samba Brazilian Kitchen feels like a little piece of home here in Gainesville. As a Brazilian, I can say their food truly captures the authentic flavors we grew up with — from the perfectly seasoned picanha to the feijoada that tastes just like a Sunday meal with family.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. You can tell they care deeply about sharing Brazilian culture through great food and hospitality.
It’s my favorite spot in town when I want to reconnect with Brazil — highly recommended to anyone who wants a real taste of our cuisine and spirit.

I had heard about this restaurant from a coworker. After speaking with two other coworkers that are brazilian, they told me what items from the menu to try. Wife and I got there when they opened, parked, right up front.
Now, Google Maps taking you there, it gives you kind of the wrong direction, but i quickly found the front of the building and was able to park right in front of the restaurant. Speaking to whom I presume Is the owner about Google giving me the wrong direction ,He’s says that happens a lot
We ordered three different appetizers, they all were amazing. My main meal came out just as pictured. It was amazing as well.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Inside is more smaller intimate experience.
This restaurant is a small hidden gem. I had no idea they’ve been in the area for almost a year now. If you are looking for a unique dining experience, I say this is definitely worth a visit

A wonderful dining experience. Thanks to John and his workmate (sorry, I don’t know his name), who were so friendly and nice in sharing and explaining the details of the dishes we haven’t tried before. I ordered the Caipisake, a Brazilian drink, and we found out that this was the drink similar to what we had before when we visited Rio last time. The food was well portioned and they have flexible substitutes if you don’t want rice, and I love the shoestring potatoes. Will come back again to try other dishes.

Samba is an incredible restaurant with amazing food. The happy hour is a great addition, making it not only delicious but a good deal. The indoor seating is limited but there is plenty of spacious outdoor seating, which was very enjoyable even in the summer due to the shade. The only thing was service was a little slow at the beginning despite only one other party at the restaurant, but the food was so great that it completely made up for it.
The food was the best part. We had two appetizers: pão de queijo and coxinha com catupiry. For entrees we tried Picanha Ao Molho de Queijo and the original Picanha. The steak was so tender. For dessert we had churros de doce de leite. For drinks we tried all flavors of capisake, so so delicious and refreshing, BOGO during happy hour.
I would highly recommend Samba and I will be coming back with my friends and family often!

Delicious food! I’ve tried several dishes, appetizers, and desserts and they have all been delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is great! I’ve been here a few times and my company just had our holiday party here. It was excellent. I recommend the coxinha, strogonoff de frango, escondidinho de carne seca, and the brigadeiro.
