am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the handling of my recent orders.

On my first order, I purchased the Dark Roast Beef, which is clearly advertised as vacuum-sealed. Instead, I received it hot, in a regular plastic container, and spilled inside the bag. This not only ruined the product but also showed poor food handling practices. When I called the store, the person who answered did not apologize or offer a solution, but rather justified it by saying they do not have a vacuum machine. That is not an acceptable response. If the restaurant does not have the proper conditions to sell a product as it is advertised, then it should not be offered in that form.

Unfortunately, the situation repeated itself today. Once again, my meat order arrived not vacuum-sealed. I had to drive to the restaurant personally to have it replaced. I was assisted by the manager on duty, Mr. Luis, who did apologize for the inconvenience, which I appreciate. However, it is still extremely disrespectful to the customer to consistently receive something other than what was ordered.

Additionally, I ordered guava tequeños, but I was sent cheese tequeños instead. This is further evidence of a lack of attention to detail and professionalism.

A restaurant is not only defined by its products but also by its customer service. I urge you to take immediate measures to ensure these issues are corrected, so that customers receive exactly what they order, in the condition that is promised.

Went for a quick breakfast bite, it was empty, not one else in. I asked the waitress for recommendation, was helpful.

The food took forever to prepare and when it was ready the waitress was too busy to hear the order ring twice for over 10 minutes because she was busy talking to the Uber Eats driver about politics.

Left without eating, won’t be going back.

I am in Miami usually a week or two every month for work and the first night in the hotel I went to look for food and stumbled across Saman…. Wow!!! Fabiola, Jackie, and Maria are all great helping me try new things every time as I have literally come here every day since being here (5 or 6 times in a week). Then the food!!!! I am struggling to find something that isn’t good because everything is GREAT!!! Thank you all so much. Ohhh also my dog loves the food too!

Super great food! My grandpa and I had cachapas, his with shredded chicken and mine with chicharrón. Really high quality service and the food was amazing. Place is kept clean and tidy. I also had the Soursop drink with milk, super creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness! Would come back again if we’re back in town, we come all the way from Tampa! ✌️

The arepa was absolutely delicious and generously sized! The passion fruit juice was refreshing and flavorful, and the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The service was amazing, friendly and attentive, and the venue was spotless. Great value for an incredible experience. Highly recommend!

I was highly pleased with everything we ordered, very flavorful and well thought out. I’m always excited to see graphic menus with full pictures of every dish because I know they made effort to practice and standardize recipes. We had one of the sample platters with mostly fried items, which all hit the spot, crispy/salt and flavorful. The sauces were also well made, and the various arapas were really good, there was a sweet one with cheese that was really good.
My main dish was the beef soup which reminded me of a Haitian bouillon, really well seasoned meat down to the bone. The broth was very flavorful, not too salty but simple and rich.
The prices were very reasonable for everything, felt like we ate 4-5 dishes with two beverages for maybe $50, way more than enough food.
The entire menu looked good, I can’t wait to try other items on the menu next time.

After a long day, I decided to try this restaurant because it looked nice and clean, even though there was a strange smell when we walked in. There were no other customers at the time, which was a bit concerning.

I ordered a picanha cachapa, and it was unfortunately very disappointing. The cheese had a strange taste, the cachapa itself wasn’t good, and it became overly greasy from the picanha. The meat didn’t taste like authentic picanha, or at least not a good quality one.

When the bill arrived, the total for one picanha cachapa, one picanha bowl, and two cokes was $65, with an 18% gratuity automatically added without any notice. Who are you to say how much should tip? I understand if there were a lot of people for that table but really? Just 2 that even helped to clean up? You guys have a lack of respect for your customers when you do this.

Between the poor food quality, odd smell, and high prices, I won’t be returning. 100% not recommended.

I came with my first time tonight with my boyfriend who happens to be Venezuelan. We had a great time. First of all cute place. Unfortunately not their fault the parking lot was flooded and difficult to find a dry space. (Nor their fault). Place super cute. Super clean. We decided to seat and order and spend some thing there. Not really busy (maybe cause of the rain). I have one of their new menu items pork chunks with arepas. It was fresh and super delicious. I also had sourpuss drink (Cuban call it guanamana). It was on point. Atmosphere is young and hip. I really like the place. I will be back to enjoy more of their menu items.

Our $54 bill became $75 for just two arepas, two coffees, and one soup.
Service was poor and took too long, brought iced lattes instead of hot coffee, and added a 25% gratuity without our consent even though the waiter never checked on us.
There were only two other customers, and we still had to stand up to ask for the bill and a to-go container. We loved the food but never coming back
