Food was great! We chose an earlier time since we know Valentine’s Day rush happens in the night and definitely loved having the place to ourselves (almost ). Food was good for sure definitely recommend eating here. Also I’m not big on steak but it was really good. Side note. The server was awesome ask for Jonathon the new guy.

After years of seeing and knowing about the restaurant for years, finally decided to give a try.

We were welcomed by the hostess and sat right away. We got the option to sit by the booth bar area section, so it was a nice and we could appreciate the decor better. Our server John was nice, friendly and attentive.

The ambiance is that if a steakhouse, since the lighting is dim, with wooden walls and golf memorabilia. It was clean and not too crowded, which made for a better experience.

I decided to order the onion soup and the crabcake app (more breading than crab but tasty) as my dinner with a good glass of Malbec from their happy hour list (pleasantly surprised). My friend ordered the Salmon salad and she did enjoy it.

Menu has various options for everyone and we will be back.

I recently had a 15-person happy hour at Sam Snead’s Tavern, and it was an excellent experience. One person took care of us and he was fast! The place has a fantastic golf-themed ambiance and a collection of memorabilia. The locally-cured oak-grilled food is both unique and delicious. Starting with Sam’s appetizers, the menu offers a wide selection, including fresh seafood, ribs, and chicken. The drink options, whether fine wine or cocktails, are impressive. If you prefer something lighter, they have a variety of salads and sandwiches. Don’t forget to try one of Sam’s homemade desserts to conclude your meal. A great place for golf enthusiasts and food lovers alike!

First time there, drove by many times and glad we finally went in. They have a limited menu, not always a bad thing. We started off with the french onion soup and were not disappointed. We opted for the special of the night, prime rib. Accompanied with 3 different salad choices and a basil, bacon mashed potato. Prime rib was cooked to perfection, served with the standard Au Jus and a nice horseradish sauce. The potatoes were a hit, never would have thought basil would compliment them so well.. Only thing missing were some sort of bread or roll. Can’t wait to go back. This girl will be a regular. The pic’s were taken after we started and dark because of the lighting. Very nice atmosphere!

It was okay. Steak was not seasoned at all. Ordered the fillet and the ribeye. The meat was pretty good. But it needed salt. There was no other seasoning on the meat other than MAYBE salt but it really tasted like it didn’t have anything. The cook was good. The tuna sashimi was very good

Dinner alone on a Friday evening. Looks like a good fun spot for groups to hang out. NY strip was excellent. Key lime pie too. House salad was a little sad. But really wasn’t there for salad

Gave this place a try because it was close to the hotel and I wanted a steak. The service was great but very let down with the ribeye I ordered. Very thin and tasteless. The potatoes were ok but not very warm. Long story short; if you’re looking for a decent steakhouse, this is not it.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to get some prime rib. This places serves it up on Friday and Saturday.

I know it’s supposed to be a bit rare, but I felt it was a little too rare. However, it was acceptable and I did finish my steak.

Tender and juicy, a glass of red wine really helped kick up the flavor.

Dessert was tasty as well. Ghirardelli’s chocolate cake was good. I actually think I liked my ice cream more.

My waiter was cool and laid back.

Moved out of the area just got back and remembered eating here years ago. Was not disappointed. Restaurant is dog friendly for the covered patio. Good idea to call ahead to be sure they have availability if you are bringing Fido. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We are picky eaters so had a few requests and food exceeded our expectations. All of our requests were executed to perfection. Don’t know if that will happen every time but our server Holly and Chef Robert delivered and excellent meal. Burgers are delicious, ribs tasty, tender and fall of the bone. Crab cakes, very yummy and may sound silly, but, coleslaw is light, flavorful and not swimming in dressing. Brought home a helping of bread pudding as I was full. Can’t wait to dig into it. Will be making Sam Snead’s one of our regular haunts. Thanks for a great meal and awesome experience!
